I enjoy drawing. To me it seems like I draw in a completely different style when I draw digitally and it looks much better. What kind of things would I need to pursue drawing in the ways you guys do in these amazingly entertaining videos.
In the Scooby Doo series Mystery Incorporated, There is a character named H.P Hatecraft, who writes a story about Char-gar-gothacon, the beast that hath no name. Obviously, this is the 'creature' that the gang discover is just an overactive fanboy with disturbing knowledge of using sound as weaponry. At the end of the same series, the group are given an invitation to study at a Miskatonic University. So yeah! The franchise slapped the references in our faces in that series lololol >D>
Didn't that show also reveal that the whole series of events was all about a plan to unleash an ancient evil that had been Sealed In A Can for centuries?
Watching this 4 years later is such a surreal experience when I’m surprised no one said “girl boss, gaslight, gatekeep” whenever they mentioned Yog being a gatekeeper
I love how in one of the last few episodes, Julia mentioned she wanted to learn to draw more teeth and mouths and she just did it we all love you, Monster mom
MynJack except the dead horse got so much beaten up it became unrecognizable and then reborn by a necromancer and mare a test subject for greater beings... Stuff?
Ironically, it looks like a famed monster made by the Elder Things: A Shoggoth. So, accidentally, it was made to look like the guy's panicking that one of their monsters has escaped and is rampaging.
Lovecraft never even drew anything himself, only artists who were not writing the actual mythos themselves, only drawing their own interpretation so its debatable whether any of the existing images are actually what Lovecraft pictured.
Shan Loudon I mean they are elder gods. They technically have no form since their form is infinite. They can look like pretty much anything. A good example of this is my personal favourite Lovecraftian horror, Nyarlathotep.
Teodus Filus the elder things were alien, but "mortal." They could produce children, and raised them as a community. They were considered "mortal" only because they seemed effectively immortal, save massive trauma, as they survived a few million years frozen in the arctic. The description someone gave of them being a cross between a psychotic starfruit and a belligerent pickle is rather apt, though the beings belligerence and aggression could be considered in self defense, and confusion... I mean, imagine waking up to a chihuahua cutting into your buddy from the bowling alley, Bill, and making apings of curiosity and study. Wouldn't you flip your shit a bit, and wanna put the demented little fuck down ASAP?

It's unfortunate Nyarlathotep didn't make it in here. He's my favorite. It would have been interesting to see what they made of him based solely on his various monikers: The Crawling Chaos, The Black Pharaoh, Mr. Skin, The Thing in the Yellow Mask, The Skinless One, etc.
The concept of the Daedric pantheon was loosely based on HP Lovecraft's concept of Eldritch Gods as unknowable otherworldly abominations. Hermaeus Mora diverges the least among them, as most take inspiration from the demons depicted in renaissance art and thereafter (e.g. Mehrunes Dagon).

Julia's elder thing looks like a good interpretation of a shoggoth, who were originally the creations/servants of the elder things and are actually far more horrifying. Their defining characteristics are "too many mouths, eyes, and tentacles." Funny bit about the vestigial wings; the elder things really did become weaker over time, specifically losing the ability to fly through space.

Granted, the second son, the one that is the titular horror, was described as bubbling horrors and such, while looking not dissimilar to its human grandfather and brother.
Eh they're kinda the same Dunwich Horror (I call him Tim) is his son
Even before I watch this video, I know that Julia will bring a never before seen monstrosity into this world. Edit: I called it.
That can be aplied in every video with Julia in it
Julia's art is my favorite
thedragonguru
I fucking love Julia's art.
I have only one word.
Spheal
TOP KEKyoin Julia always draws traumatic demons
Clown are always titled scary and they always scare me, but what about some handsome clowns guyz. Plz draw some handsome clowns and mybe you can cure my fear of it?
Stephen Gonzales Trust me, you're not the first person to think about sexy clowns. Just google 'pennywise x reader' and do a backflip into gibbering insanity.
Seriously, the sexy interpretations of scary clowns scare me more than the scary clowns themselves.
@@cryptologicalMystic Knowing that Pennywise x reader fanfiction exists, I've lost my faith in humanity
Stephen Gonzales, it isnt quite what you asked for but The Rocky Horror Show is pretty close. Tim Curry as Frankenfurter is sexy, scary and legend all in one.
DO JUNJI ITO STUFF, PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. I'M DYING. THIS WAS All TYPED WITH SHIFT HELD DOWN.
I agree.
ONE MORE SPIRAL!
Why are you yelling?
"This creature is a giant mass of spirals"
"This one is like a man becoming a rat"
"This is a shark with legs!"
dracocrusher *spider legs
I love how terrified they sound at Julia’s drawing
Tristan: Some people may know it as the Cthulhu...
Me: Mythos!
Tristan: Universe
-,,,,,,-
micman678 yeah, being an avid fan of lovecrafts work and the shared cthulhu mythos, this vid was cringy
also the pronunciation of yog-sothoth
its actually the Cthuluverse
@@jackshoggoth677 Please get off your high horse. Stop gatekeeping and teach. Let people enjoy things. You dont gotta be obsessed/always correct to have fun. :)
@@spicybeantofu things can be cringe but okay.
Julia's elder thing looks like a good interpretation of a shoggoth, who were originally the creations/servants of the elder things and are actually far more horrifying. Their defining characteristics are "too many mouths, eyes, and tentacles." Funny bit about the vestigial wings; the elder things really did become weaker over time, specifically losing the ability to fly through space.
full episode, or drawfee beans, either is fine with me. but i would like to see you guys draw classic horror monsters doing normal day stuff, like stuck in traffic, going grocery shopping, mowing the lawn ect.
To carry the theming that they have here they should do Artists Draw SCPs They've Never Heard Of!
Literally some of the most natural conversation I've ever heard. The chemistry's insane.
As a marine biologist, I am 100% sure that at some point in time an octopus has found an old boot, crawled inside, and enjoyed it so much they took it with them
I'd watch half an hour of Julia drawing horrible monstrosities.
Can we please have an episode of just julia drawing for 30 minutes
Can we have an episode of just Julia drawing for 7 hours
Yog slothoth AKA: the worst tangela, or maybe the best tangela?
James Bell second best. His noodliness, the Flying Spaghetti Monster is the best.
TIL what the Tangela line's endgame is.
14:49 artist: "This is what Tsathagua looks like, right?"
Lovecraft: ".... well it is now!"
i know this is an older video but i was rewatching it and there actually is a lovecraft based episode on Scooby Doo. its called the screaming madness or something like that, and from what i remember one of "h. p. hatecraft"s monsters gets out irl and everybody's like wow very scare omg
i think it was in the season.. nevermind idk
edit: it's called the shrieking madness. episode 12 of season 1 of Scooby Doo mystery incorporated
please give us a Julia terror session!
Every Julia session is a Julia terror session.
Lovecraft is *tumbling* in his grave
Lovecraft didn't place his own work on such a high pedestal as some of his fans do. Hell, he parodied his own work once by writing a story where the monster was actually just a goat and the narrator was reading into things too much.
He was very self-aware about his work and also a horrible, virulent racist and anti-Semite
@@Sammie1053 A huge number of people were at the time, including many of our favourite novelists, short story writers, journalists, poets, artists, actors, musicians, dancers, royalty and politicians. It's thorough depressing to look back 100 years and realise that human beings are just as revolting and fucked with racism, xenophobia, sexism, homophobia and general douchebaggery now as we were back them. It's like a literal meme replicating throughout the generations.
@@MsCherade9 plenty of people were not the shitstain that Lovecraft was. At the very least Lovecraft in his later years renounced a lot of his shittier views, but still, its a common mistake we make that we just write people off as "a product of their times." There were plenty of very vocal people, even many authors, who were better than this at that time.
MsCherade9 uh yeah not to be late to the party but even people at the time were like “uh yeah this guys like. really racist” also his cat. I beg of you look up the cats name.
Awww, no love for The Black Goat Of The Woods With A Thousand Youngs :(

I prefer Nyarlethotep myself
Dear Drawfee,
This year on my report card, I recieved all A's and a single B. The B was an 87 in
physics, I hope it doesn't dissapont you, so I may continue to enjoy your quality content.I
will do my homework to raise the grade.
Love, Brotato Chip.
P.s. Hope you get 2,000 more subs to raise it to the mighty 666!
I’ve been playing a Hyperborea campaign, there’s a lot of Lovecraft elder being influence in the game and this video is literally the only reason I had any context for Yog Sothoth and Xathoquaa.
Thank you for your service, Drawfee
I have since joined a Call of Cthulhu rpg game, and I appreciate Nathan’s sanity score joke.
Please draw cryptids again. There is just a whole lot more spooky monsters to draw
And a whole lot of dumb ones
Cryptids or like just general creatures from mythology or something would be great.
There was a Scooby Doo episode where someone was pretending to be the Scooby-verse's knock off Lovecraft's monster 'Char Gar Gothakon' (the beast that hath no name).
Jack Avery oh yeah HP Hatecraft
the comedic chemistry between these people is fucking incredible omg
30:42 I need Julia as a vocalist for my slamming deathcore band immediately, cuz that was a brutal terodactyl scream.
Do you mean.. Terrordactyl? 👀

And to think, I didn't believe it would get more terrifying after the second drawing...
Please Drawfee gods I beg of you......Make Cthulu Cup a shirt or just an actual Cthulu Cup.
It is indeed something we all need in our lives. ^_^
Yes!! I'd love that!
Can we just have a solid like 3 hours of Julia drawing anything
You guys actually helped me do my homework! I can't focus on menial tasks, so I'd play drawfee marathons in the background while I put together my projects.
18:55 "I don't have poCKETS! yOu'Ve nEgLeCtEd tO gIvE mE pOcKeTS!" Made me laugh so hard 🤣
I have a recommendation, I have no clue if it's been done before, but I want to see anime heros past they're prime.
Cloud Strife when he runs out of hair gel.
just by reading the comments before the video started, I knew Julia's drawing was going to be horrifying...
Draw knock-off lord of the rings characters please.
I know this is an old video, but all your laughter is so very contagious. Thanks and sorry!
Aw come on, how could you overlook Char Gar Gothicon; the beast that hath no name?
(Kudos if you get this reference)
If you want another "spooky" suggestion, then, please draw S.C.P.'s. Some of them are creepy, and some just dumb sounding. You'd probably have fun.
Artist drawing Yokai they never herd of
