The elephants built the Empire, but the ants rule the kingdom. I will enquire on our next trip how to get there. It’s not far off the beaten path by the sounds of it. Thanks for another great video.
Thank you Mr. B for showing the old khmer elephant stalls. You were swarmed over by big red aunts. Be safe. Normally red ants live on trees with broad leaves. They wont bother you unless you disturb their nests on leaves.
Trust me, those ants live everywhere, I do agree you often find them in trees. The worst are the fire ants. I have been bitten on my private parts by them, that is a memory I do not relish nor will I soon forget. 🤠
@@TheMrB With your frequent visit to those temples buried in the jungles you are required the use of insect repellant such as OFF (a brand in the US) before you leave your house.
Wowww. This is the first time I have ever seen an Ancient Elephant sanctuary of the Khmer empire. I always wonder where the Khmers kept their thousands of their Elephants. Could there be more ancient sites like this? This is the most interesting sites so far. ❤😂
This is the only sight of this kind I have ever come across. I absolutely loved it. I have nothing that is even similar. This is an absolutely unique place.
Very interesting but I’m glad the elephants are no longer being used for manual labour 😌 I hope you recovered from your red ant bites they sound very painful 😫🥰😘

You are right it is very simple to get to this one. It is in the Angkor Wat complex.
Really cool video. Thanks. Look forward to more. I have officially subscribed.
Thank you so much for your kind comment. It is very much appreciated.
Plenty more adventures to come ❤️

@jackket6708 never used repellent, not once. I don’t get bitten by mosquitoes, I’m very lucky

@@TheMrB I would call this the Khmer empire's own "Elephant Stable". I don't even think there is one in India if am wrong.
@imperialkhmer6146 I couldn’t say but if your right I think I am the first to film one, which is cool 😎

@cathy8039 I’ve been bitten on the nuts by fire ants, now that really hurts. 🤠
