had a "hand it to me order" today, and the lady answered her door only to say: "Wow, that was fast! Just put it down there and I'll get it later." and closed the door. I was so confused lol
People hear of "easy" ways to get free food, one of which is lying about getting your food from an app. Add in that most people are NOT going to confront you at your home. I've had all of one person try the bullshit of "food not delivered". I gave DD the proof that I did, and after I did enough deliveries, the violation was gone.
i’ve made a habit of checking the drop off instructions before i pick up the food so if anything seems off or too complicated, it’s an instant unassign.
Hi Nuggs! The man in the video who went back to the customer's place of employment did actually get reactivated the next day & that woman actually got fired from her job over this situation.
I m happy for that guy! So all dashers who are having same problem, they should go and confront people? Doordash believes dashers if they confront customers?
Damn. I think that’s a bit extreme from that company. But we can’t say it’s unfair because what she did got someone fired too. Good thing she saved that $12. She will need it now lol

Hell if you got your own delivery horrible customers recorded make a monthly collection and rate em from bad to the number 1 worst of all customer delivered too with the reasoning as to why they get that rating lol.
I’ve had customers say I never delivered an order, and it’s happened three times, but I was always able to get out of it just by providing proof of a photo, or talking to DoorDash customer service. There’s no point of going back unless you have anger issues
But don’t u take pictures of the order and house anyway whenever you drop off a delivery and they have records of it or do you have to save the pictures as well on your phone?
@@johnquill4995 I take a photo , I had a order that said “hand it to me “ it then said in the instructions ring the doorbell it’s up to you . These I take a photo by text but wtf people

1:40 Their argument is ALWAYS "get another job if you don't like it" But they never actually explain WHO is supposed to deliver their food if we're all quitting.
The real problem comes from the lack of transparency on if there is a tip and how much by doordash. If someone lives 8 miles away and doesn't tip, every doordasher should have the right to decline the order, without penalty. Driving 8 miles for $5 is a no win. Customers don't understand because it is only 8 miles. To a driver, we know 8 miles is 8 miles out of the zone and 8 miles back just to get another order.
@@survivalsearcher exactly I had a customer one day actually asked me why did DoorDash send you all the way across town to the other McDonald’s when there’s a McDonald’s right up the road I said I have no idea. Yeah that customer is pretty pissed at DoorDash.
I agree with you about the guy talking about not giving tips unless "good service". I do food delivery full time, so I'm on the driver-side of things. However, I think there is a price to pay for not tipping upfront, and that's that you'll get lumped into "no tipper status" and your order will look unappealing, especially considering how DoorDash like to throw $4 dollar orders at us all the time. No one wants to go through all that service for much less than minimum wage. If you want your food that bad and you don't want to tip then go pick it up yourself because no one wants to delivery for less than minimum wage. YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO TIP, but we shouldn't have to take bad orders either
This. If customers would take 5 minutes and realize why we need tips I think it’d help. I just let those $2-$4 orders pass on by. It always amuses me when they have to wait hours because they don’t tip. Had a co worker that ordered food around the same time as me. Different restaurants but he didn’t tip at all. I covered the mileage of the drive. Wouldn’t you know it, I got my order in close to the estimated time. He waited 2.5 hours. And complained about it being cold. I tried to tell him before he ordered that it would happen. But he didn’t care. That’s the main issue. The customers don’t care. They just want the food regardless of what their drivers have to do.

It wouldn't be a problem if those orders weren't being delivered, almost always. No, clearly something is happening behind the scenes that is allowing people who don't tip for service (not good service...but someone simply taking the time and energy, and mileage, to deliver fresh food direct to your door) to still get service.

I have reported them to door dash every time this happened and NOTHING is done. The most recent incident, the restaurant reported it as well. But I highly doubt doordash cares enough to investigate

0:50 I kind of agree with this as all these delivery services charge 8-12$ for the delivery and then pay the driver $2-3, the issue is with DD and it's pay model and not people tipping. Unfortunately people don't understand that as things currently stand every delivery pays between 2 and $3 and no one is doing that 14 mile round trip for that.
Also, the fact that the workers are most likely using their own personal vehicles stings the worst. The lower pay wouldn't be so bad if you're able to use a company paid vehicle and they take care of the maintenance and you return the company car and they will hand you the keys to a fully fueled up car. For real. Watch Moore Finance and see how much wear and tear and gas his Mercedes Benz takes from his food delivery app work....

That Elizabeth order, the dasher only got half pay lol. This is why if there’s a issue with the order, I tell the customer they need to contact customer support.
#1 always check the delivery address before picking up the order. #2 make sure to record with your comerá if you’re delivering to a parking lot or not real address. #3. When leaving at door take picture of the number on the house and food . #4 always record when handing the order to your costumer
The whole issue about pre- tipping is a complicated one because I see it from both sides as well. This reminds me of how our country is right now, two sides fighting against each other when really "the powers that be" are the ones loving that we are focused on each other an blaming each other. Meanwhile "the powers that be " are becoming multi millionaires while we haggle over a few dollar tip just to make a half way decent living. It won't ever get solved until the ones who are really at fault stop being greedy, so in other words, it will never get solved. 😔
@James McKay it was $3.00 or more when I started. So I didnt agree to $2.25. Not only that, DD doesnt tell you what base pay is when you sign up because its different in different areas. However, I agreed to $3 + tips when gas was cheap. $2.25 + small tip doesnt even buy one gal of gas where I am now.
i just saw that video of the guy going back to business to confront the girl. in the comments there was someone saying that the guy is a POS and that he actually had uploads of him saying he stole deliveries when customer didn't tip
Talking about tipping culture, here in Australia the delivery apps are constantly running promos like "99c delivery" and stuff like that. I wouldn't be surprised if 95%+ people here do not tip at all.
The problem isn’t driver vs customer. It’s just ignorance all around. The customer refusing to see or understand the drivers side. Just “I ain’t leaving no tip for nothing”. Failing to understand that without a tip it’s anywhere from $2-3 to get your food. So to those customers. Would you offer a family member or friend $3 to go get your food for you? Or do you think that’s an insult to them? A good rule of thumb for me when I tip is to at least cover the mileage. So 4 miles $4 tip. Plus what doordash pays would make that worth the trip. I realize that the whole system is broken and that’s on doordash. But when customers are unwilling to even learn or try to understand why we need tips, that’s frustrating.
It shouldn't be called a tip, it should be a "bid" or something similar. Tips should be given after delivery for good service. In an ideal world companies should automatically cancel orders with a bid of less than $X per mile or even allow diners to increase their bid until an order is accepted.
I had that sort of order with 5 sandwich trays and 3-4 pans of sides and plates for 20 people and 0 tip. To a business smh. 8.96 for 15 miles essentially. And there was a small wait for the food. And I got stuck in roadblocks for 15 mins on the way back as cops did a manhunt
The problem with tips is that delivery apps tells the customer “extra goes for the driver” that’s it, when the reality mostly all the money you make comes from tips otherwise is simply imposible to make money with the base pay.
Most likely the food will lose quality for sitting in a bag for awhile, if that's worth $2-$3 to the customer than all power to do them, but tipping just a $5 gets my food delivered fast and hot.
I’ve had 4 of these different scenarios happened to me. $400 Popeyes order no tip.. Was offered a blow job by a guy, a woman called me and told me she was missing fries and told me to drive back to the store told her no that I was already on a new delivery and I had support try to cancel an order because I needed them to remove an item luckily I was able to stop them before they finished….
It's as if people have never gone and picked up food from a restaurant an when they got home their order was f**ked up! I would say 8 out of 10 times my orders are messed up, luke warm fries, missing condiments, missing an item, mayo when I said no mayo or a coke when I ordered diet coke. People know what these places are like, young people that don't give a shit either because they are just lazy or they work like dogs for $ that won't even cover their bills and they are burnt out. Bottom line I don't understand why the blame always falls on us.
Agree with you 100% but the reason is simply we were the last ones to touch their food so they blame us even tho its not our job to make it and 95% the bag is sealed I am not looking through your crap.
Nuggs. Keeping doordash going by keeping morale up 4 ur fellow drivers. If you stopped making this channel, b4 long they wouldn't have any drivers left
The dude with the tipping BS is full of shit. If he delivered pizza he was an employee of said pizza company. He got paid at least minimum wage or more. He got reimbursed for gas and he got tips.
Man some of the dashers in these stories had horrible experiences! I dash in Los Angeles and my customers, for the most part, are very easy to deal with. But I only dash in upper class neighborhoods where fast food is not as accessible. I do get fast food orders on return trips but I only take them if it's decent.
Thats the smartest thing to do is just dash in upper class residential areas. Those people have money. Only broke people from the ghetto, apartment complexes and lower class areas will try scamming you and get it for free or tip bait
@@luxuryqueen42 The richie rich in my market tip garbage and they are farther drives to and from restaurants. The low/no income homes don't tip and try to get stuff for free. The middle/working class are the ones that tip well where I live.

The guy actually got reactivated and the girl was fired from her job. I watched another video with the story. So yes, confront them! Steve, the fist ass who said it was undelivered has never done it again. I’ve delivered to him several times so he learned the lesson 😂
three times now i’ve had customers blame me for the restaurant’s fuck up. first time, it was a long distance grubhub order from cracker barrel. the pay was good enough for the miles but it was a large order and apparently they didn’t give me all of it. customer blew up my phone highly upset, i told them cracker barrel has to literally hand me the food, i dont just walk up and grab it. but they claimed they had already called cracker barrel who ALSO blamed me. i told them get a refund because i’m not going all the way back to the restaurant and back here again because of THEIR mistake. never got an answer after that. second, was essentially the same scenario but the customer was way ruder. the restaurant didnt give me the full order and so the customer sent me texts very sarcastically about how they “should have given a bigger tip” because i do my job “so well”. then the restaurant themselves(???) started calling me over and over and asking me to come back for the rest because the customer “is really upset”. i said no i’m already on to the next order. that’s not my problem yall messed up. good luck lol. (funny enough these were both grubhub orders). third was a chipotle order. the app said “merchant delivery items unknown” so when i got there i just grabbed what was on the shelf for her name assuming it was all there. well, apparently they forgot the coke. this customer lost her shit over a coke! yelled and slammed the door in my face even after i explained how the app said items unknown. for those customers that are missing items but are nice about it, i try to correct it. i did go back for several customers who were very polite. but people who throw tantrums get what they get.
It’s always funny to me when the customer blames the drivers for their shit not being there. It’s like they don’t realize we just grab the likely sealed bags and deliver them.
The second part did actually happen to me in downtown Iowa the restaurant call me and said they forgot to give me this item luckily I wasn’t to far of it so I want back and text the customer that I need to go back to the restaurant because they forgot your item which the customer was cool with it and yeah lol
You pay a delivery fee, but that fee goes to the company you order through. The driver is an independent contractor, they don't always receive the tip. If people refuse to tip, you as a driver don't have to accept the person's order when it hits your phone. Your car, your choice.
Yesterday i had a mcdonalds order to where a driver took the order back to the store because the customers address was blocked off by construction and she called support and they told her to return the order and they would have another driver take it. @@NuggsDD we need a “real job” but he wants his food delivered. How does he expect it to be delivered to him if we all get “real jobs”?🤣
first time watching you - I enjoyed the video! I hit the subscribe button. just started dashing three months ago and already wow do I have some stories. I will keep watching - do your thing and be safe out there.
You never take a bit out of a burger. take the burger out of the bun and eat that.
Love the Reddit videos, thanks Nuggs
The whole issue about pre- tipping is a complicated one because I see it from both sides as well.
This reminds me of how our country is right now, two sides fighting against each other when really "the powers that be" are the ones loving that we are focused on each other an blaming each other. Meanwhile "the powers that be " are becoming multi millionaires while we haggle over a few dollar tip just to make a half way decent living. It won't ever get solved until the ones who are really at fault stop being greedy, so in other words, it will never get solved. 😔
Yes, but I feel DD lets to know customers know that of all the fees they pay, we get a measly $2.25 from DD.
@@rachaeltanyer3767 tht is true, everyone who works for dd agreed to get paid 2.25 from dd. Not the customers fault.
Been with nuggs before 1k and man I love that you’ve grown so much and keep making great content. Keep it up bro
i just saw that video of the guy going back to business to confront the girl. in the comments there was someone saying that the guy is a POS and that he actually had uploads of him saying he stole deliveries when customer didn't tip
That chili fry lady is my worst nightmare as a dasher.
Absolutely infuriating
I’ve ordered from restaurant and had no tip function on checkout and didn’t know door dash was delivering but still gave a tip in person
And I got stuck in roadblocks for 15 mins on the way back as cops did a manhunt
please do more of this im dying
I have over 4000 deliveries and have never been accused of anything. know why? Cuz I DONT WORK IN THE HOOD.
Never deliver in trash neighborhoods, duh!
I always make sure that the person got the food, I’ll keep calling until they get the food. Or call Doordash support
The problem with tips is that delivery apps tells the customer “extra goes for the driver” that’s it, when the reality mostly all the money you make comes from tips otherwise is simply imposible to make money with the base pay.
So nug said "well you don't have to tip but we don't have to take your order" someone will always take your order!! Regardless of no tip
Most likely the food will lose quality for sitting in a bag for awhile, if that's worth $2-$3 to the customer than all power to do them, but tipping just a $5 gets my food delivered fast and hot.
I asked 1 of the McDonalds in my area if everything gets delivered. They said they throw away 15-20 orders each day that never gets picked up.
No tip, no trip.
I had a Walmart order that was 741 items, "NO TIP"... This was my last delivery of this type. . .
My worst order ever from Walmart was 6 deliveries for 32 miles and wanted to pay $12
I got an order that said wear gloves in the directions section like??? Babe i do not carry gloves in my car
It's simple, if there isn't a tip I don't accept the order. People like that guy are wasting people's time.
More of these please
Meow is from Super troopers.
Freaking hilarious
I'm poor but I tip well... because I also work doordash for tips. The best tippers are folks like me... the worst tippers are the nicer homes.
@@rodzilla6053 if that is what works for u then continue 👍
Bro, I am subbing just for that joke.
There’s a reason why I stay away from Reddit for the most part ☠️. I enjoyed the conference about 10 days ago. I made it back to PHX Saturday morning.
A large tip to suck... Oh never mind... Nuggs is too cheeky and making us smile and laugh...... 💯
(Oops) You are ROCKIN IT!! Keep up the great work Nuggs.
I had a customer demand I wear not only a mask but a face shield and gloves. I refused
$297 and no tip? I'd take the food back to restaurant
Just now discovering your channel love the content thanks!
Your the best love your videos keep it up you're so funny
Plucking BRILLIANT!
Giving me jamari vibes keep it up we need it nuggs
Jamari is a beast
Shit I've been part of reddit for 8 years now and I didn't even realize doordashdashers was a sub! Thanks nugs
Lol, he gonna give you a tip alright.
I do not do alcohol orders at all unless it’s a big fat tip, which usually it’s not. It’s not worth the headache or getting deactivated because someone wants to argue when they don’t have their license or Id. Plus you have to take the alcohol back and only get like half pay. Just not worth it!!!
No longer have to return the alcohol in CA....we are instructed to "dispose" of it..🤷🤷
Hey nugs that was a good reaction video maybe the best video you have done since you quit doordashing 🤣🤣🤣😭😅👍
I responded to that zero dollar tip on that huge order on reddit
I ordered a cheese fry and didn't get my cheese. I was pissed. But I didn't say anything and just took the loss 🤣
Awesome video my guy
The guy actually got reactivated and the girl was fired from her job. I watched another video with the story. So yes, confront them! Steve, the fist ass who said it was undelivered has never done it again. I’ve delivered to him several times so he learned the lesson 😂
Watched 3 hours of nuggs videos loved it
If i'm getting locked in a store.... I'm eating all their food and 100% taking shit without paying lol
You’re pumping straight heat out of that pc
More of these please!
If you have a cup full of soda and ice, then take all the ice out the cup would only be like half full
This is why whenever I see fellow dashers to always record drop off on hand to customers. 10 seconds could save you the trouble
three times now i’ve had customers blame me for the restaurant’s fuck up.
first time, it was a long distance grubhub order from cracker barrel. the pay was good enough for the miles but it was a large order and apparently they didn’t give me all of it. customer blew up my phone highly upset, i told them cracker barrel has to literally hand me the food, i dont just walk up and grab it. but they claimed they had already called cracker barrel who ALSO blamed me. i told them get a refund because i’m not going all the way back to the restaurant and back here again because of THEIR mistake. never got an answer after that.
second, was essentially the same scenario but the customer was way ruder. the restaurant didnt give me the full order and so the customer sent me texts very sarcastically about how they “should have given a bigger tip” because i do my job “so well”. then the restaurant themselves(???) started calling me over and over and asking me to come back for the rest because the customer “is really upset”. i said no i’m already on to the next order. that’s not my problem yall messed up. good luck lol.
Cancelling the entire order when it should’ve been one item? Oh yeah, definitely had that happen before. 😑
Can't get deactivated for not delivering if you wear a body cam and can prove you made all of your deliveries.
Oh this is good. How did I not know about this sub. Thx :)
You pay a delivery fee, but that fee goes to the company you order through. The driver is an independent contractor, they don't always receive the tip.
If people refuse to tip, you as a driver don't have to accept the person's order when it hits your phone.
Your car, your choice.
Caffeine free monster 🤣🤣
Love these types of videos!
If there is no tip then your order will bounce around until some fool picks it up.NO TIP then i decline immediately.
You had me laughing hard on this episode!!!
No tip, no trip. 😁
More like this please! Loved it 😍
nuggs for president
I had 150 dollar order for a 5 dollar tip, it's not like I had to wait for it because it was ready but I was like wtf?
I don’t see getting deactivated with one complaint
wait do you just have the whole wendys menu on your wall LMAO
why does door dash/ grub hub not do what uber does and have the tip pop up and rating pop up after the drop off?
Yesterday i had a mcdonalds order to where a driver took the order back to the store because the customers address was blocked off by construction and she called support and they told her to return the order and they would have another driver take it. So i get there and the store told me all of this and i took it and lo and behold the address was blocked by construction and i called support and they finally canceled the order I'm like wtf why didn't you cancel it the first time? Doortrash must be getting desperate to get orders delivered.
You sick I love you!!!!🤣🤣🤣
