Thank you for these videos. I have been able to do some really great things with the Shader Graph, but getting good looking 2D shaders for glass and other camera sorting overlay stuff has eluded me for awhile. I think I understand it better, now, and I believe I understand why many of my glass attempts before didnt work. I am really craving a 2D metallic shader that gives a sheen that shows up different based on camera position, so that walking along would make metal materials look shiny. I have tried a few times but am struggling with that one, too, but I am pretty confident it is possible.
We're going to have to do a part 3 😅 Actually, I did the copper of the fish in the thumbnail by using the Gem Hunter/Match 3 tile shader that's included in the samples.
@@HomeMechis it possible to do some kind of Depth Of Field, like Hollow Knight? Without baking/exporting all background images as blurred. A shader that makes all sorting layers from 0 to -100 to gradually get more and more blurred. Or maybe some cheaper solution
@@Chief-wx1fj Thank you! I usually use post-processing depth of field for this and move things on the z-axis. If I come across another way to do it I'll comment again here. 🙂
@@Siege680 so? If he writes code like that, no compiler will accept it. If he wants to communicate in English, then pay attention and communicate in English. This is plain laziness.
@@HomeMech After I watched part 1, I knew the reason was that the tag was not selected, thank you, I recommend everybody watch part 1 before watch part 2
great shader effects! Would love to see more videos like this, it is amazing
Great stuff love Unity ❤
love this one!
Please add more tips for HDRP, High Quality games

Nice 👍
Awesome👍
Thank you!
Thanks for the great tutorial!
Is it possible to finagle Unity to have objects (not on CSLT layer) that can appear over a CSLT glass obj?
👍
Iis this mobile level perfomant?
Mobile is complicated. Try to test yourself.
I wonder how someone who can't put together a coherent sentence can ever learn to code. Compilers aren't tolerant of errors in the code.
@@johngrey5806Maybe, English is not their mother tongue? Ever thought about that?

@@johngrey5806 🤓☝️
I downloaded the shaders, it is all source shader graphics and materials, no way for the beginner to use them like the video shows
What version of Unity are you using? Try importing them into a new project with the Universal 2D template.

@qin6409 Oh right, forgot about that! Glad it's working now ☺️ I'll keep in mind to mention setup if we do a multi-part video like this again.
:)
How did you post the comment before the video published?
@@hgopikrishnan it helps to be part of the team at Unity working on this content ☺
@@eduardooriz2715 Nice.
This is because the video game industry is in crisis, efforts are focused on effects instead of allowing fun games to be easily created.
