- Photos taken while out on an early morning walkabout in Skibbereen (Ireland), Sunday, 22 March 2020. The country is on coronavirus lockdown, of course, however Sunday morning (circa) 5:30 to 6:30 AM the town would be as still & silent as this anyhow, give or take a late foraging hedgehog or homeward bound mumbling and stumbling drunk.
I’m grateful for the use of Max Richter’s beautiful musical composition (‘Vladimir’s Blues’, a track on The Blue Notebooks album) which I’ve used without permission, and in relation to which I assert no claim of right of any kind. Everything else is by me, including the recording of early morning birdsong below the Richter recording.
I WAS WONDERING WHAT HAPPENS IN SKIBBEREEN THIS TIME AND THERE I FOUND YOUR VIDEO :::THANK YOU PERRY::::MARIA
The hardest things about lockdown for me, was I couldn't place a bet in the bookies, and all the record stores were closed, so I couldn't buy new cds. It took me a while to get used to going back to the pubs after lockdown.
