Thanks so much for posting these videos! I love hearing about the band from those days. I’m a 90s/2000s kid, and from the Midwest U.S. - I didn’t even really find prog music in general til 2015. Found Canterbury (particularly Caravan) around 2016 and it quickly became my favorite music. I really wish I was around back in the late 60s-70s so I could have seen you guys and other bands I now love play live. But thats’s why I love hearing you guys talk about the music and the history of the band. Great stuff!

Hey there, so great that Caravan's little tunes are still finding new audiences and people around the world are connecting with it. Thanks for your support, check back over the coming months for more episodes! :-)

I still like to claim that I was a roadie for Caravan back in my art school daze of ´69 ...but in fact all I did was carry in an amp or two while I waited for them to play a gig at Southend Tech, that I had designed and hand screen printed the poster for.

Thanks for your help all those years ago! Do you still have your poster design? :-)

Sad to say no @@DaveSinclairMusic2 but I remember it was kinda similar in design to the artwork of the ´72 MGM reissue of the self titled debut album, a car and caravan driving off into distant rolling hills.

Thanks for these interviews, good to hear about the early days. I think the gigs we put on in Diss in 1998/99 were almost a throwback to those days, as the stage we put you on was "somewhat small" :)

Szkoda, że nie ma dostępnych występów z telewizji BBC i programu Colour me pop.

Yes they were all erased by the BBC, the top of the pops performance was sold across europe but no tapes have survived from there either. Only a poor copy of the 1973 promo film shown in the old grey whistle test survives in BBC archive, the complete promo film for which the band have a 2K master of the original print.
