When you die you DO NOT make a new save file or lose all of your progress. That just ends your current run. It’s not like you lose your unlocks. It takes many many runs and deaths to unlock everything.

The binding of Issac didn’t make roguelikes popular. The game Rogue did. That’s why they’re called roguelikes. Because they’re similar to the once extremely popular game Rogue.

Opinions are subjective, but i dont agree with the "isaac is the Best Roguelike Ever" its just not, what i think it does though is that it is probably the most influential game of its genre
great video. I saw this as a top game in steam charts and it peaked my interest. looks like dogshit for me so ill pass but enjoyed how short and sweet this vid was anyway.
I'm not the intended party that this game seems to not covertly mock, which is relevantly semantical on purpose if you haven't removed all your ignorance like most people and not relevant if you don't like semantics. What I'm saying is you have blood on your hands if you play this game. However little. It's more than average I'm guessing.
I hated this game. I wish I could get a refund. I did like 50 runs and only maybe 5 of them felt different. I guess you get passive things but that basically feels like nothing. Maybe I just had bad luck but it was just boring to me....compared to rogue legacy 2 which I bought at same time. I played that game for maybe 50 hours.
@TheDarkchum1 see i don't umderstand why all my runs felt the exact same. Like extemely pitiful upgrades that didn't do anything. I just moved on to rogues legacy 2. That game was awesome.
@ it’s crucial to have the items external info mod installed also. Tara the only mood you need but you do need it. Make the game 100x better…. All Isaac streamers use that mod.
@@TheDarkchum1 i bought it on nintendo switch so i dont think I can install mods. Its all good though, I accepted my loss and moved on. It was just not a game for me.

Try base game rebirth it has less bloat (poopoo crappy doodoo items) while also having good variety of items and unlocks.
I’ve got several hundred hours in on Isaac now and it’s STILL giving me fresh runs with things I’ve never seen 🤷🏻. I still have soo much to unlock.
