Z broly backstory is a bit more than just being upset at baby goku crying, I used to think the same thing but looking back, Baby broly went through so much, he was upset by Gokus crying,then during that he got stabbed and then he had to save his dad from dying in space, so all his trauma from all of that is just associated with Gokus crying.
He was crying because he knew goku was going to be the one person to have the potential to kill him in the future it was a sayian fighters instinct that’s why he flipped shit every time he saw goku cause he remembered his engery from when they was babies

For the Battle of Gods argument. "Whis is a bad antagonist." Whis Isn't an antagonist. He's just there. As he should be. The Angels are there to watch over, not intervene. And Beerus is the antagonist. Whis is just there to guide and/or assist. Not to fight or be antagonistic. Anyone who says Whis is a bad antagonist doesn't get his character to begin with.

Damn, I actually kinda liked Dead Zone! A lot of that is based off the visuals, Garlic Jr's castle just looks cool. I also am just a sucker for this era of dragon ball where Goku is using the power pole and Piccolo is still somewhat of a villain (the subbed version using music that's a combination of their DB themes during the fight is just fun). I do think it's a creative use of the lore behind Kami and something that isn't rly explored much. That said, the writing absolutely sucks lol, but I watched it with company so the dumb stuff was able to be a bit funny.

Battle of Gods was an S tier movie because Akira Toriyama painted a beautiful masterpiece of what the future of DBS was going to be: new transformations, new power-ups, and new characters. I love this movie! Super Broly was also an S tier movie and, to me, the best DBZ/DBS movie because this Broly was better than the original Broly as they gave him a much better story. I also believe he is stronger. Plus, the scene when Goku said, "It's my turn now," was like the main event was about to happen.

No those fight were trash the moment gohan was getting his ass kick the whole fight and the moment he manage to go ultimate we see nothing. The same thing happen for piccolo losing > transform(out of nowhere )> one shot > fight over.
I find it kind of hilarious when people say Future Trunks' sword came from Tapion, for the simple reason that even if they somehow got the music box open without the Dragon Balls they would be almost immediately massacred by Hirudegarn. Hell, they wouldn't even be able to take his disembodied legs let alone the whole thing XD
Fusion Reborn is my favorite Dragon Ball movie, I will 100% agree that Battle of God's is a better movie overall but Fusion Reborn is special to me bc it was my favorite for the longest time
Only thing i gotta say is that resurrection F was bad, no TOP doesn't factor into that choice, before TOP I hated how they brought back frieza this way.
Just like you, I was waiting for the DBZ movies to start... Tree of Might was a great movie with a great story and action. Cooler's Revenge, to me, I almost wanted to put it in the Z tier because I love that movie. Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan was Z tier to me, and I know the crying part is crazy, but that story and those action fights were God tier, bruh. Bojack Unbound was A tier to me because back then, I had a bias towards Gohan, and where I thought they were heading with Gohan, this movie just showed why he was about to be that dude.
Tournament of Power Frieza is such a good character for a lot of reasons, but the main reason is that it actually shows why Goku didn’t want him to die on Namek. Goku recommending Frieza was so out of left field and it felt like the wrong idea until the very last moment when you realize that Frieza truly is Him and that Goku just caught him slipping twice. Resurrection of is B tier for me. I hate how Frieza’s return gets cheapened in the original dragon ball story. This film put him into certified boogeyman status. He 100% survived the earth exploding and he can survive in the vacuum of space. If it wasn’t for Goku knowing an Angel Frieza wins. And showing us that Frieza is a legit threat and that the hero’s really on divine intervention is a lesson that really propelled the rest of super imo.
Looking at the end of the list I should've put Super Hero at the top of A and Bojack at the bottom. But man that second half of Bojack really is some of my favorite content in any Dragon Ball movie for me😂 Much love bro!
Broly's motive has more to do with saiyan instinct than Goku's crying, both characters are based off sun wukong and are meant to be polar opposites, Broly is the epitome of everything the Saiyans are, bloodthirsty warriors who only care about battle and destruction, meanwhile Goku is a carefree saiyan who is kindhearted and merciful. It's a destiny thing both warriors born on the same day in the incubators right next to each other. Goku's power reawakened Broly's thirst for battle.
It's ironic how people collectively sh*t on super but when it comes to the movies it's glazed like perfection , super broly is a fun movie but the idea that is well written is crazy, from power scaling to retcon saiyan history to tarzan broly, but we choose to clown Z broly which is misunderstood

I love When ssj2 gohan pulled up in Bojack will allways be cool. And honestly I think my favorite broly momment is his transformation in movie 8 and the Omega blaster scene is absolutly amazing animation for no reason No fusion reborn though
I saw the bio-broly film for the first time not that long ago and of the 13 Z movies it was the last I saw simply because of the hate. But you know what? I didn't think it was that bad. Reasons why I think people hate the movie: 1. That has no reason to be a Broly movie and they ruin bis design. 2. Vegeta isn't in it and Goku has but a cameo in it. 3. It's ends anticlimacticly because Broly dies just by walking into the ocean. 4. People find Goten and trunks annoying. All valid complaints, but honestly I'd watch this over Bojack or cooler 2. Cooler 2 literally makes no sense on how he survived the first movie and he lacks the motivation he had in the first movie and Bojack doesn't show up at all till the second half and has no personality. I can see why people wouldn't like BioBroly but i don't think it's the worst of the movies. It's unique imo and I personally found it more entertaining than those other 2. Aside from this dude has some weird hot takes. Definitely feels like he's basing these opinions off of his first watch thru of them back in high school and hasn't actually seen them recently with a more critical view. Both of the first two movies are B tier for me. Mystical adventure is A for me, it is not the best but certainly the best of the DB movies in my opinion. Path To Power I really didn't like it, the only reason it wouldn't go to F tier is the incredible animation, D tier. Super Broly movie is definitely a low A tier MAYBE high B tier movie, the retcon is disgusting & the fusion shit is kinda meh, but the animation & fights definitely take it to an A for me

The real reason explained by koyama why he hates goku isn't really about him per say it is his crying That reminds him of his first techinacally defeat and loss and if you know this broly He hates that So goku's crying is kind of a reminder of that event in broly's mind.
I love When ssj2 gohan pulled up in Bojack will allways be cool. And honestly I think my favorite broly momment is his transformation in movie 8 and the Omega blaster scene is absolutly amazing animation for no reason No fusion reborn though

I saw the bio-broly film for the first time not that long ago and of the 13 Z movies it was the last I saw simply because of the hate. But you know what? I didn't think it was that bad.
Reasons why I think people hate the movie:
1. That has no reason to be a Broly movie and they ruin bis design.
2. Vegeta isn't in it and Goku has but a cameo in it.
3. It's ends anticlimacticly because Broly dies just by walking into the ocean.
4. People find Goten and trunks annoying.
All valid complaints, but honestly I'd watch this over Bojack or cooler 2. Cooler 2 literally makes no sense on how he survived the first movie and he lacks the motivation he had in the first movie and Bojack doesn't show up at all till the second half and has no personality.
I can see why people wouldn't like BioBroly but i don't think it's the worst of the movies. It's unique imo and I personally found it more entertaining than those other 2.
Aside from this dude has some weird hot takes. Definitely feels like he's basing these opinions off of his first watch thru of them back in high school and hasn't actually seen them recently with a more critical view. I am biased towards android 13 tho so I'll agree with him on that LoL

on broly no where in the movie is broly hinted at as being motivated by goku crying that is a fan thing the reason broly acted the way he did was because a real one goku had entered the arena one who would not concede like vegeta would to him the reason he acts they way he does in the first half is him fighting against the mind control for dominance their is no trauma no crying their is only a desire to fight no where is their any indication of anything else and if you disagree provide a time stamp on the movie to show otherwise

Both of the first two movies are B tier for me. Mystical adventure is A for me, it is not the best but certainly the best of the DB movies in my opinion. Path To Power I really didn't like it, the only reason it wouldn't go to F tier is the incredible animation, D tier. Super Broly movie is definitely a low A tier MAYBE high B tier movie, the retcon is disgusting & the fusion shit is kinda meh, but the animation & fights definitely take it to an A for me
