This song came randomly to my mind today and i did check it up. 4 years ago i had 17yo and it was about the love of my life leaving me all behind. im 21yo now and it still breaks my heart when i remember him. the song brought back so much feelings. at least once in my life i knew what it means to love someone deeply. sometimes i was finding myself whispering what if he loved me back too, maybe all the story could have been different. but it s fine life goes on and time changes everything and maybe, maybe the best is yet to come. ^^

And so...I hated him, I loved him...I was conflicted, just like in this song, but ultimately I stayed true to what I told him...I refused to be a side chick, and so I left.

On the Reign video of this song everyone wants to talk about this being a song that represents Mary and Francis, even though the "beautifully unfinished" is the only part that actually spoke to them. The rest of it was about Lola and Narcisse, and I too saw patterns in their relationship that I had experienced with an abusive ex. "You got me like a ragdoll now I'm dancing on your string" was so poignant for me.

Its letting yourself see feel there so much more to life love career.
