  • Clearing out the last of my footage from the previous summer (long version here: • $75 Tall Grass Lawn Mo... ) in this quick overgrown lawn clean up with a brief explanation in the beginning as to why you may not be seeing my videos recommended anymore like they used to in past years.
Thanks to ‪@GrassFlap‬ for sending me a test unit as well. I have had it for quite a few months now and still love it.

all the views go to the guys that do all the trendy stuff like: ”mowing abandoned haunted house, and COPS showed up!” it gets old. you are one of the originals i’ve been watching on youtube. keep it up

@integraDIY love your YT handle and couldn’t agree with you more. The “CAPS LOCK non caps lock CAPS LOCK” dramatic titles are getting out of hand lol.

Been with you for quite awhile and one of the reasons is you're not into 'drama'. You have a message to impart and that's what you do. You educate and show what you think we need to know to take better care of our property. You're stuck with me. 😉

Watching resident interaction makes me uncomfortable. At least I now understand what is driving everyone to do it. One of the things I like best is you just do you! Love your channel!

I agree with you on not showing, blurring the homeowners, blurring vehicle tags, street names, & numbers for the privacy & safety of the property owners. RUclips pay attention. Great job on this video.

I do have to admit the ventrac stuff has been good, but I do miss the old Copper Creek cuts. But I think in the end of that, what matters is what works for you. I do love watching the content but have to admit I'm a big fan of sticking with the lawn care

Last week I was wondering if you still made videos and specifically looked you up. Still subscribed, and I was surprised you had consistent uploads that youtube just never put on my feed. So yeah, I figured the algorithm soft-blocked you for not playing the shock and awe game. Thanks for doing your own thing!

This is the preferred content. Couple weeks of overgrown property cleanup without the drama nor all the shovel work when in most cases the line trimmer would still be the better option.

We were on vacation in Florida in the early 90's, no idea what part we were in, and we came across one of those ghost developments; there were streets, curbs, sidewalks, maybe even some street signs, but no houses.
About 7 or 8 years ago one of my college instructors told us about a development somewhere in the southwest that was was pretty much finished, but the water supply had become so restricted since they started construction that the whole thing had to be abandoned before anybody moved in.
And I don't like the current trend of everyone talking about the FREE yard cleanups either.

  • @seanslawns
    @seanslawns 10 месяцев назад +2

I spoke about the trend that some of these landscaping channels are following, on one of my video descriptions.
The big channels all use the “CAPS LOCK titles THAT have HALF CAPS and half regular size FONT” format. Then they’re always claiming the craziest stuff like they’re cutting the yard magically bc they have a magician with them or they got shot at or the cops were harrassing them or a homeless guy is being crazy or the KARENS are cussing them out or they almost got hit by a car or the “haters” are mad at them lol.
Look I’ve only been doing this for 4 months, I’m not better than anyone but I’m also not coaching people up for the camera and using misleading titles.
What’s going to happen(it actually already is happening) is so many copycats are starting this that subscribers are going to get bored of it. I saw a new channel who literally used the al bladez hashtag on his very first video and copied this style to the T.
Like you Brad, I’m trying to change this trend and get subscribers with genuine content. It’s very difficult for me not to just copy them and get some million view uploads.
Lastly, the most important things to me are being kind, helping others, and showing respect. Ironically, the majority of those large channels only show those traits during their staged videos.
    You da man B-rad!

honestly I wouldn't normally comment ...heck i never pictured myself watching content like this lol ... really i have been noticing alot of the "OMG I mowed this property and you wouldn't beleive what happened!?" typed videos and thumbnails ... and as a viewer ... i sort of roll my eyes ... like "how can you ham a video up like that?" .... I do like the ones that have the stories of say someone down on thier luck maybe and the content creator (of this sort of content anyway) goes and helps them out and they are so greatful and really interact (*** in a natural way, even knowing they are on camera) with the person ... some positivity in videos ... but yeah I am "not a fan" of the overly "OMG i mowed a crazy lawn" type videos ... I have always enjoyed your sort of content better.. There are a few other channels like this that dont seem to ham things up that I am subbed to but I can not recall the names off the top of my head. The only one right now, that I remember is "Blades of Grass Lawncare" but I would recognize the creators in an instant, watching one of their videos

while i said what I did ... just focussing on the job over having a long conversation with the property owner for instance, is what I like more ... otherwise i feel like I am butting in on someone else's conversation (even if all parties know they are on camera) ... i feel off (dont want to ham that up myself) watching that

I was subscribed to your channel since we were 3000 followers but a couple of months ago I unsubscribed because you started to focus more in talking about equipment or explaining your methods and for me it was boring, I like to see before and after transformations, just watching you work. Anyway I still check your channel and if I see a lawn mow video I hit the like 👍
