Dear Mr. Mascarenhas, I cannot thank you enough for not only this video, but for all of your videos! The best part so far, has to do with the feelings of respect and appreciation you show for all of your surroundings...from Mother Earth herself, to all the people who are involved in this process of discovery and sharing. You are helping me to feel there are ways to participate respectfully and still have a reverence for life, nature, and our fellow 'man/woman' while being involved in gems and minerals in an economically and life-supporting way. I withdrew from collecting and my plans of processing out of sadness for depletion of the resource, but perhaps I can become involved again, and do some good in the process. When you said "we had to have them", I feel these feelings myself whenever I get close to these gems, or interact with my own collection. It's like I feel a need for them from deep in my bones, and I'm not sure if it makes me feel satisfied, or always needing more. Stone in any form seems to be "my element" and I need to discover more of what is healthy and rewarding in this field! Since early childhood, mines and quarries have been to me like food is to most people. Thank you for being a good example of a respectful person! I hope some day we can interact directly!
@@mascarenhas88 Thank you too! It's more than fascinating to see what you are discovering! I haven't found any videos yet where you show how clear crystal quartz is mined, especially the clusters with very, very large combined points (often sold with cut bases) I hope to such a video still :) I have never been to Tuscon, but was considering going this next year. It has come up recently as a very good idea! Are you a principal behind Minec Minerals Br? I discovered Minec as a company a good number of years ago, and may have bought from you before. I remember pricing out a container at some point in the past when considering commercial involvements. I'm on your emailing list, and recently got your Denver notice! :) Thank you again! BTW it really helps when there are English closed captions available! I enjoy hearing everything you and your mining hosts are saying!
CuriousEarthMan interesting you mentioned about crystal clusters production, we are preparing a new movie about the new mine just reactivated , of clean crystals clusters amd points. The Zeca de Souza mine.
@@mascarenhas88 oh, thank you for letting me know! I will try to watch it as soon as it comes out! I am very grateful for your work! I also don't want to give you the wrong impression...I'm a small collector, still trying to figure out how my desires can be satisfied in proportion to everybody else's need. I like that much of the mining you support does not destroy the land. I'm concerned about doing damage, as other countries' buyers may also be doing as they grow bigger in the market over the years. I have much to learn! Thank you for your time!
Fantastic look into your country, the mines, the people. Lots of respect for the environment and I'm very happy to hear the people have protected themselves well and are gaining from their hard work.
This was such an amazing video! Thank you for this as well as all your hard work. We appreciate you and the thousands of other hardworkers who do this for us! 💜
Excellent job with the video. Very well done, thank you. Sidenote, I tried to register on your minec website, but was not able to do so using two different browsers. I also tried to send an e-mail via the website and am not sure that worked either.
