Important tip about the Sumo Headbutt that is essential to mastering E. Honda. The light punch version of the Headbutt is your friend. It has little range, but Honda has a brief window of invulnerability at the start. You can use it right before jumping attacks land for a clean counter. Also use it as a close range counter on wake up. A special move was not mentioned called the Sumo Smash. Charge down for 2 seconds then press up and any kick. Honda flies up in a forward sweeping motion in his belly flop pose, before flipping over at the top of his leap and dropping straight down with a butt drop. The butt drop portion knocks down. This move has brief invulnerability at the start that can allow Honda to pass through projectiles and counter close range attacks. The first rising part can be used as an anti air, but does not knock down grounded opponents. The butt drop must be blocked standing. Here's a useful cross up combo: cross up belly flop, close double hit knee(hold forward or away and press medium kick, crouching hard punch after second hit of knee for a knockdown. The timing of the crouching hard punch takes practice.
to add some tips, the hundred slap combo at the end, you have to activate the JAB version of hundred slap, it comes out faster that the others, othe combo that no requires cross up with juming mk is : jump HK/HP, standing MP, crouching HP, does good damagae and a knockdown and after the crouching HP you can charge sumo smash o charge down/back to a headbutt
You have no idea how much your videos have been helping me get into the essentials of street fighter 2. I never thought I'd enjoy using balrog until I watched your tutorial video. Keep up the good work, hope to see the rest of the roster get a tutorial video as well.
I just couch play with friends. (I’m old like that haha). As for favorite games, street fighter up to Alpha 3 and 3rd strike, Garou MOTW, and Virtua Fighter.
@@operationalminimums haha that's fun. Turned my phone into a dedicated emulator. I just use my BT controllers to play with friends. May i ask, what's your fave controller for these

Usually I use a standard Xbox one controller; my partner prefers a hori fight stick
Honda should've been the final boss. Best fighting game character of all time.
