I live in CA and my family lives in FL so I get to both Disneyland and Disney World. Your observations of Disneyland were spot on. I love the parks but the magic ends after you leave the gates. So convenient and has all that classic nostalgia though. Also, I find that there is a little bit more shade in the Disneyland park than most other parks and California Adventure has pretty good amount of seating at the outdoor dining options. I’ve never had to eat over a trashcan like so many people do in Florida parks. 😂
Yes I think it’s important for people going for the first time to just know it’s different from Disney World but there are so many things that make it amazing in its own way! Also this is a great point! There really weren’t that many unshaded areas walking through Disneyland, and we never had to use a trashcan to eat either😂 Plus the weather in California is just a lot better which I think helps a ton!

On my last Disneyland trip we stayed in Grand Californian hotel, and the magic honestly never stops. It was 100% worth it, and you have direct access to Downtown Disney/California Adventure so there’s no need to wait in super long lines to get in. I’m sure that it would be more magical if y’all stayed at Pixar place or he Disneyland hotel because those have Disney things all throughout the hotel unlike Grand Californian , but I can also say that the Grand Californian has amazing views of the park. Loved this video! 🫶🏻
I would LOVE to stay at Grand Californian! The location is just top tier!!! I think if I had to pick between the 3, it would be my top choice!
When is the cost break down coming, I would love a video about that
Hopefully Disney World takes your advice and has more character interactions before parades and just walking around.
It just provided more ways to see the characters without having to wait in a line! They all felt like very organic interactions which I loved!
