That’s ok it will only affect the people who can do nothing to help . Ask that woman if she would mind if the dustmen stop emptying her bins because they are professionals and reserve the right to ignore hers. Our poor diet is often due to insufficient funds to buy quality foods . No one on under £20,000 can afford it

Yes it is ok and perfectly legal….we actually have rights in this country. The Jeramy Vine Show - The home of right wing talking points.

Absoulutely awful show. The wee girl Storm is as bad. Their guests are awful and I have no idea why most of them are afforded the platform. Insee clips on youtube and they make my blood boil.

I recently ended up in A&E because I was in agony withy my legs and I was told there was no appointments. I couldnt even walk on my own. A&E were great. It turned out I had severe sciatica in both legs and ended up on crutches and two weeks off work!

Why politicians think that they can tell healthcare professionals what they are worth and how to work is beyond me. The same goes for journalists who influence people to think doctors are somehow some sort of bogey man. The people working in the NHS are the main players in our society. They look after us and protect us. They have studied hard and spend their whole careers developing their skills. Not just GPs but every member of staff in a hospital who make it work. If the NHS go on strike or work to rule we will all know about it. We will feel it and it will cause major distress. If journalists went on strike tomorrow I don't think that we would suffer quite as badly. Or we may actually be better off without the likes of this programme. Vine just said we can't treat 65 million people on a small island. What do we do then Jeremy? Just treat people with private healthcare? Like you? If we all have private healthcare we still need more people to treat us. What a terrible show that attracts terrible callers........ doctors shouldnt go on strike because 'I WANT, I NEED, I NEED DEMAND. Vine can sit pontifficating all he wants. Just remember, if him or his family are sick he will be treated privately. It's only poor people who should worry about becoming ill. Horrible fraud of a man and programme.

If we cant see a doctor or go th the hospital we should not have to pay into it. As we will have to get a health insurance.

I trained to be a nurse early 70s. When newly qualified and now in charge of a ward I earned less than the cleaning lady, in charge of her mop and bucket. I didn't strike or moan, I bought a milk round

Maybe if you supported your colleagues nurses would be better paid.

Probably has a house with mortgage paid years ago. No kids to raise and likely lives alone, so salary more than enough.
Try walking on others shoes and you will see the struggle.

You are all moaning and they are leaving. In 5-10yrs you will struggle to get a GP appointment cos there’s no more GPs around. These guys work themselves into the ground but you have all suddenly developed amnesia to the real problem facing everyone. Your population growth has been exponential in the last 10yrs and you all fail to recognize that? Baffling to say the least.

I think all GP surgeries should have the option to have a 4 bed ward so they can have patients that need to be observed under their care . It might ease the hospital situation

I had to be in a hospital in Glasgow it had a hotel joined on to it so you went to the hotel room to recover from less serious surgery but you were still close if something went wrong it was cheaper than a hospital bed and much nicer to not take up a hospital bed also made me feel better as could get a good nights sleep and a lie in much quieter

People shouldn’t complain they should just pay to see a GP privately. Everyone expects the state to do everything for them for free.
