- While I need to more time for a Full Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G review I thought I would go beyond the standard Galaxy S21 FE Unboxing and first look to do a Galaxy S21 FE vs Galaxy S21 comparison with a Camera Test. I know alot of people will be looking at Galaxy S21 vs S21 FE because the price is so close so lets see if the new Galaxy S21 FE Camera can beat the Galaxy S21 Camera.

Is the pricing right on the Galaxy S21 FE at $699?
I don't think so...
599 would have been a good price
Though it's a great all-round phone...it's a refined s21

Considering you can get an s21 plus for the same price now, who would be crazy to buy this. The s20 fe is basically the same phone but slightly slower for almost half the price currently

The photos on the S21 FE is good enough for me. I might upgrade to this phone but I'll wait until after the S22 releases coz maybe Samsung will have promos and deals that will lower the price of this phone.

The only three things you'd want to consider this over the S22 series are FHD vs QHD, plastic over glass, and 50MP over 12MP.
I think the S21 FE is a more reasonable buy once the price drops just right.

@@mouadtalbi4170 in my region s21 is exynos and if s21 fe will be launched with exynos then whole s21 series is s no no for me then ill wait for s22 and if still exynos is inferior to snapdragon even with amd gpu then with heavy heart the company i hated the most will be my only option
The price for the s20 FE was also 699. It only started selling when the S21 vanished from inventory. Or there was a significant deal through the carrier. The price never made sense. And it still doesn't this time around with the S21 FE. It should have been priced at 579.99. 20 less than the Pixel 6 and perfectly placed between the A52 and the S21+ 5G (S21 EOL) and the upcoming S22 replacements.
Some have said that the Pixel 6 was picked this way on purpose. But the Pix l was released first. And if Samsung had any clue they would have priced it competitively.
S21 has gone through some camera improvement throughout all these updates. Approximately after 2nd or 3rd update prior to Android 12, the oversharpening has been toned down, the result of tele/crop camera is definitely better, the notorious background noise has been cleaned out. Rather than thinking not having real tele lens, I find the S21 tele/crop camera to be handy for landscape in bright sunlight as 2nd wide lens. It does retain much more detail and I'm delight to know the tele lens is a non tetra pixel one, so a pure 64mp camera with too little pixel size.

Thank you, Danny, for the excellent unboxing and camera test. The S21 FE looked so much more natural than the S21. There is not a perfect phone camera or cameras out there. All are a series of giving and taking. At this point, in the last ten days of January, with the launch of the S22 series on February 7th or 8th, the play would be to wait, see what Samsung brings to the table, and what discounts they are willing to make with the S21 FE. Having Android 12 on board, with three OS updates and four years of Security updates, is a huge plus. The photos were excellent, the town looked beautiful. Take care.

In Finland there was already a carrier specific pre-order deal for S21 FE, got the 128Gb Snapdragon variant for 499€ with free Buds Live earbuds. Mad deal, wait for sales, don't buy this at full price.
In Denmark theres a Cartier deal for 380 dollars for the 128 gb and 460 for the 256 gb both with buds live
Do you recommend getting the deal? My dad needs a phone with good camera, but doesn't want to pay 1000 euros.

The s21 fe is actually pretty impressive .
S21 shoots incredibly detailed 64MP photos in good lighting conditions while S21 FE can't. This is a huge deal-breaker when it comes to shooting people or scenery that you want to zoom-in on a large screen. It's pity that so many RUclips reviewers simply ignore the powerful 64MP mode of S21 (as well on A52, A52s and A72).
Ive been wondering that same thing. I have the 64mp option on my s20 and its great. dont know why all reviewers ignore it.
guys it has a 64 MP telephoto . it has a primary sensor of 12mp. that's y every you tuber has ignored it
@@zeissgaming9181 , it has a 64MP camera used as a telephoto by cropping the center of the image. But you can shoot very impressive 64MP photos with its full frame nearly identical to the main camera except that it captures a lot more detail. In good lighting conditions S21's 64MP camera beats the 108MP mode of s21 Ultra and the 50MP mode of Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, because it has more realistic colours and keeps the details same across the entire image, whereas the Mi 11 Ultra is only sharp in the center and the images gets blurry near the corners. Not to mention the very yellowish tint of Mi 11 Ultra that do require manual post processing in a graphics program, and that its battery gets drained extremely fast while shooting photos and videos.
@@AutomotiveCNC no. it has 1.1x tele zoom which is extremely lesss zoom and is identical to that main sensor without zoom.
@@zeissgaming9181 did you read his comment? Yes it's 1.1X optical zoom, but it crops the center of the image to substitute an actual telephoto camera because the resolution of the sensor is so high

^I think that samsung should drop the FE title and instead call it the samsung galaxy s21 lite, there's nothing Fan edition about a phone that doesn't come with an SD card ,charger, and a headphone jack and certainly for the price samsung is asking for this device I'd rather buy the xaomi 11 T pro it is unfortunate that the pixel is not available in my country but there are great phones that are cheaper and they are of great quality.

S21 fe is good🔥 ... i bought s20 fe recently and i loved it.. The camera produce beatiful photos. So i might pass the s21 fe...i maybe upgrade after 3-4 years.

S21 FE is a beast. Upgraded from an S9 and I was worried about it but now that I have phone in hand it's 110% worth it. Only thing I will miss is my LED notis and curved screen.

With 21 FE it is the best phone on the market at the moment, price quality, a few updates will be better than 90% of all phones on the market, let's not forget that it has a snapdragon 888 which is traditionally better than all Samsung exunos

Hi! Awesome video! I think the price is too high. Most people will wait for the price to go down or choose the S21.
And the real Samsung fan will wait for the S22 and pay the full price.
But I think this indicates us that the S22 line will have a much higher price compare to last year.

I have the s20 fe 5G, great series of phones especially if you live in an exynos region. There's no reason to upgrade for me in the near future.

Yeah actually it's just a perfect way for them to manipulate the pricing for the next version of the phone. There's really no practical reason for anyone to buy this phone over at the s20 FE or the s21. And we know carriers will probably be giving this phone away in 6 months
They launched it too late. S21 can be had for about the same price as a S20FE through carriers in Canada at the moment. Once all the S21 are gone the S21fe will sell when compared to S22 prices. The S21 Ultra and S21+ are almost sold out in Canada. Maybe it will raise the price of the S21again once on the market. Who knows.

If you buy the S21 FE over S21+ you'll get an advantage of a year of OS update🤷

S20 fe still gives you a charger and SD card slot (s21 fe do not have it anymore, as it was removed). For me I'm from outside of the US and South Korea, we are getting the exynos version, but I'm not sure why s20 fe in my country is snapdragon but s21 fe is not and that's why this is my current phone

10:21 the same dark spot appeared the left ear on both image, S21 FE happened to coincide with the rear ground dark spot, that's what happened

The tele photo on s21 is digital zoom, while it's optical zoom on s21 fe.
The s21 or s21 ultra is still a much better phone than the FE. Especially the cameras. The s21fe uses an optical fingerprint reader. The s21 and s21 ultra use an ultrasonic fingerprint reader that can read through thin rubber gloves
In India S21 is 65k while s21fe is 55k. Which one's better as per the price point?
@@nishilbright2007 s21 in any version is a flagship. FE's are cheaper versions in essence. Better than A models but still, worse than flagship ones.
@@nishilbright2007 fe, it has a bigger battery and bigger screen. I have the phone and it's very comfortable for one handed use. Every thing else is basically the same besides the finger print scanner and telephoto lens and cameras as seen in the video are different
Here in my country s21 still at 60k while FE at 40k why would I pay for 20k more for ultrasonic finger print lmao 🤣 As I watch the review the difference is not much worth for 20k, so I wait to lower the price atleast to 35-38k Before I buy.

It should be cheaper, and should have SD Slot, and they should have got rid of 6Ram 128GB, as this is what you get with A52/A72.

I was originally worried about the low resolution of the main sensor, but that's pretty much mitigated by including a telephoto.

Price a bit high. The Galaxy range is already crowded, with more on the way. Best positioning: Good, Better, Best. The old Sears Roebuck formula.

Price should have been a bit lower because for that amount I can get a one plus 9pro or pixel 6 which to me can take better photos. Also the S21 price is now lower. If it was retailing at 600$ or 550$ it would make a lot of sense
