This was my first introduction to miss dulcé and I’m in love, this episode should’ve been longer!!! I feel like there was so much more to potentially experience with these two iconic queens together
There's a pink litpstick lady who works at the kiosk at my local train station, she's such an iconic staple of the public transport experience that she was actually the original kiosk lady from the old bus terminal in the same town before the train station even existed. When the bus station closed and moved to the new trainstation, you better beleive she and her kiosk came along too, and shes been working there everyday ever since they opened. A petition needs to be filed to erect a bronze statue of her at the train station when she retires.
🔶️🧡🔶️ Delta is "The GODDESS of Customer Service" 😂 I hereby declare ANYONE who stands up to management in a logical, sensible, common sense and polite manner a 'Delta' because that story made me so very proud. 😊 It was Old School and I loved it! The SWs (Strong Women) over my 60+ years on the planet came flooding into my brain and heart as I listened. I actually shed a wee tear of thanks to them and will take your example with me now. Thank you. 🌹 Your lovely guest, Dulce, is a wise young woman. I'll be looking for her book ❤
I met Dolce in LaGuardia Airport. We wanted the same snacks. LoL She was absolutely lovely & even took a pic with me. I do relive the moment in my head because I think I talk too much, but what can I do about it now....lmao
18 and a half minutes. That's how long someone would have to work for that large uncarbonated soda only to throw it out -- assuming their hourly pay is $18/hour and paying about 28% taxes. That's a very valid point... imagine having to spend 18 and a half minutes at work knowing you're not being paid.
I didnt know Dulce was cool like that. On drag race she came off as stern and critical! She scared me! 😂🎉 But she's so warm! She done been thru some life!
I work in service and I 100% agree with you. There’s two kinds of ppl that walk into these jobs, and yeah no one really wants to be there but I used it as an opportunity to build skills in problem solving, management, customer service but like really master them and prove to myself and the management that I can turn it out
I’m gonna be so real. Not ONE employee, manager, or anyone else who works a fast-food job will EVER remember or care about an interaction like that. I’ve experienced HUNDREDS of situations like that and guess what- couldn’t care less. Why? I didn’t. Get. Paid. Enough. That’s it, that’s the catch. None of them get paid enough to CARE about the product that they’re serving because they don’t have any stock or investment in the company. Minimum wage employees have no reason to feel emotionally invested in their employment spaces. Period.
Passover goes by the lunar calendar and Easter goes by the solar calendar so the two don’t really have any correlation regarding when they occur. Also, this episode was amazing. Love Dulcè and Delta!
equinox got equal in the name: it's when the days and nights are the same length (spring and fall). Solstices are the longest days (summer) and nights (winter). Easter is a whole mess, and it's the first Sunday after the first full moon of the spring equinox (which is why it can be March or April)
8:17 This is so real! How much time did someone have to work for $4!! It’s a lot of money to most of us. As a retail worker, I feel this and appreciate it. ❤
I feel like they should tell people at the order speaker that they don’t have any carbonation at the moment so they can make an order based on that information.
This is the BIGGEST SMALLEST FISH EVER FRIED!!! but this astute woman is right!!! How many hours of work must be completed to earn the pay for food/service. Then it’s not up to basic standards. I be sliding down the walls crying when my food order is wrong after my 2nd shift!!
Why does she spell her name Dulcé but pronounces it Dulce? I'm not a native Spanish speaker, but doesn't the accent indicate a stressed syllable when it doesn't land on the 2nd to last syllable?
We have to hold the space for some people to actually be incompetent, especially when it comes to fast food. Like… we shouldn’t be eating there anyways 😂
“You’ll always be inferior when you never want to be better”
I felt that in my SOUL! 🔶
I came here to say the same thing!!
She ate that
It used to be humorous, but now it has transformed into a display of pure classism.
Strictly here for the weekly soda-related monologues 😂😂
Delta's tirades about issues with things like flat sodas or an improperly prepared salad are so real lol.
“and he says to be, Sir….” FULLY caught me off guard in the middle of this juicy fast food drama
Me tooooo!!! I'm like sir?! B*tch i'm a lady.... Oh right.. lmao
This was my first introduction to miss dulcé and I’m in love, this episode should’ve been longer!!! I feel like there was so much more to potentially experience with these two iconic queens together

You wouldn't catch 18 seconds from me!
I don’t typically comment but Dulce is such a great personality, I could listen to hours of conversation between these two.
Not the petty monitor LOL!🤣

Your "go off Delta"'s are so soothing and relatable. Nigh ASMR quality. You start whispering and it would be over for the world as we know it.

she took Louis XIV’s wig, wet it, applied Suave™️ Mousse, scrunched it, and let it set and dry.
I love Dulce so so much.
8:50 okay, I feel you though because while I relate to minimum wage workers, some people are for real just being INSANELY RUDE
