Literally absolutely nothing can beat Freddy in a chicken suit smoking a vape and blasting it full speed on a quad bike.
His face with the vape in his mouth while he’s ripping on the quad cracked me up so much haha
that was pure comic genius, it was so funny and yet clearly scary. I nearly gave this series a miss but its been absolutely brilliant.
haha 100%, I was pissing myself watching that scene, great writing/directing/acting. Loved it, I was sold after that.
easily the best thing Netflix has put out in years, let's hope they continue to work with Guy Ritchie in the future.
The problem with binge watching this series, is that its over far too quickly and then you start getting withdrawal symptoms. I thought I'd be able to watch one per night, but then, when the next episode started I just couldn't turn it off! So please Guy, bring on series two ASAP! Also, a big round of applause for Chris Benstead's score. The beautiful soprano perfectly underscoring not only the country house scenes but also the scenes of violence and criminality.
As is with all Guy Ritchie’s work, unfortunately. It’s actually so good, it’s almost visceral

I love Theo James in about anything I’ve seen him in, but have to say that the entire cast were sublime. It was refreshing to see Vinnie Jones in a non-villainous role.

Susie Glass Top notch character. The absolute opposite of a gangster but very gangster in the same time...Very complex. The Guy Ritchie directing is unique, watching his movies is like reading books, so much detail and conversation, still allows you to visualise stuff in your own way somehow.

She rides her Dads surname and showed that she thought she was better than what she actually is! She needs a proper humbling!
I pretty much binge watched the whole series and it was absolutely brilliant. Fabulous casting and as we know Guy is the man when it comes to this genre, often imitated never duplicated
This show was waaaayyy better than I thought it would be, even knowing Guy Richie created and directed it. He held back his often chaotic editing to only use it when it made sense. It's really excellent in every way.

I absolutely loved it! Everything Guy does turns to creative gold and is by far the most entertaining director out there who's just making fun and funny films/TV. Long may it continue. The cast was perfect and brilliant as well. So good!

One of the best series I have seen great story very high pace all the way through and absurdly funny in places.
I didn't even consider this show as I thought so little of the movie it sprung from. Plus I thought it was yet another cash grab from an existing IP, something streaming services are really guilty of.

Guy Ritchie is a game-changer. All of his films bar 1 have been extraordinary. Need I say it? The great thing about what he does is that he uses people who have never acted before and gets them to perform better than Hollywood actors. There is always a sense of truthtelling within his films and the way he edits them is hilarious like one of the actors said. He knows how to bring humour with the darkness with a nice cup of truth to go with it. My research these last 18 years plays out in this new series. William the Conqueror didn't conquer England. He was just a drug dealer who took over a new patch in London and from there they spread out across England and took all of the public lands like the roads. That is why all roads lead to Rome. They never built them, Romans never built anything, and they let their slaves do it like the employees they have now. It was a loophole in the English system of common law. It all changed when merchant trading started and corporations were created in the 1600's. That is when the ministry of justice was founded. Lord Faulkner owns it, or owned it.
I can't wait for season 2.
Can't you find an apprentice Guy? We could do with more films like these. Have you also noticed American Actors vs English actors? Americans are really lazy in their fight scenes and yet the English are more like the Chinese and want a good fight with some good moves. English actors have always outperformed the Americans, in my opinion.
I'm in love wit this show! The cast, costume, and writing! 'Did your cows tuned off the light switch'? , who knows that scene? I laughed for 2 days!
