Do understand, the so called "Palestinians" aren't out there to build a neighboring state, their ideal and morals aren't equivalent to Western Society morals. The Arabs have one ideal in mind, the destruction of the one Jewish state of Israel. Follow the money provided by UNRWA, most if not all of it went for weaponry and tunnel construction, including the deep pockets of their leadership.
If one is looking for a true Mideast solution, try the restructure of the Japanese and the South Koreans, post WWI.

Just what land was taken from them, given there has never been a nation called Palestine? It understand perfectly, Hamas is a fundamentalist Sunni mouvement, but most Palestinians are Sunni, cannot be destroyed. In military terms, Hamas was defeated, but it is of interest for Israel that Hamas can have some sporadic activity, in order to get economic and military aid from its allies.
In other words, according to this guy, the Palestinians have no agency: they have no ability to change their thought process -- say, war and terror haven't worked, so maybe we ought to try a peaceful approach. As long as they see jihad as the way forward (Hamas' approach), the Palestinians are destined to live lives of suffering.
