This is actually a genius work. The way that you format your songs almost reads like a midi; so much easier to follow along to than other people's very bulky designs. I like the use of the coal and iron(?) blocks to indicate what beat of rest you are on. Very clever! And of course, your arrangement is quite nice. Simple, in that Minecraft way, but it encapsulates the essence of the original song with ease. The way that you used multiple lines of a note with just the default repeater to create the longer notes was incredible. I have never thought of doing that let alone seen anyone else do it. 10/10 work! You have earned yourself a subscriber with notifications on! I look forward to your next creation!
i was just recommended your live from several hours ago on another Tally Hall cover, and just seeing the dedication in that was enough for me to sub. this is INCREDIBLE and my brain is more than adequately scratched and satisfied (and i now feel inspired to make covers for fun even though it’s been years 💀)
While 1.20.3 and 1.21 add features which are very useful for making note block covers, I have made all of my covers on 1.15.2 or 1.16.4 since there is less lag while recording, and I can still use the piston trick for off beats. I'll likely stick with 1.15.2 unless Mojang adds something extremely revolutionary which I dont already have in the carpet mod.

Will you use the new copper lamp for off-beats or faster beats? Since the lamp give a one tick off set from the normal minimum 2 ticks of repeaters.
