Pure post scores consistently make fully contested layups on my 6’10 90 overall.. 99 shot contest pure lock at the stage, nobody wants to fix it cause there so worried about stretch bigs.
Malachi Daniels cause all the sweaty pure post live on the 1v1 court we don’t gotta worry about that. Stretch bigs literally zig zag for 23 seconds and shoot right in your face with no hesitation. Ball control and algorithm for example zig zagging for 10 seconds straight with a power forward should heavily reduce your chances of making a shot and lower your stamina much more is what needs implemented

Stretch bigs only use their left stick. iso requires you to use the left stick, right stick, and R2 at specific precise times, and guards are also shorter and cannot shoot over heads like a stretch. This shouldn’t even be a debate which requires more skill.

Yeah, this archetype system isnt working so well. But even 2k16 had its flaws with creating positions and players too. We need a better system. Maybe have a template sort of thing for like the top 5-10 or however many players in that position and make it to where they cant be too much taller than that template of a player, but still have some flexibility. Same with the attributes but be even more free in that category. Idk it's just a general thought, it's not like 2k would even consider that an option anyways lol. No matter what there will be a flaw in something, but these archetypes ain't it chief.

It’s not nba playgrounds and it’s not meant to be, it’s supposed to portray real basketball. When you see other sports games partnering with their leagues and the game is entirely realistic. So why should 2k be different? You guys are thinking of it as if this game could do anything it wants and doesn’t have standards to maintain as far as partnerships.
I mean it is a basketball simulator so it should have some realism and shooting is a key to that, if somebody really thinks that a game shouldnt worry about realism go look at nba live 18 and 19 and see how much of a bullshit game both are any archetype can shoot over any archetype from anywhere on the court and thats why nba live franchise failed because people who play 2k want a real basketball sim if they didnt then the argument between which is better nba live or 2k wouldnt be a thing.
