i love how the work trains are so small yet look like a diesel locomotive.

They are actually diesel locomotives. There cannot be a subway locomotive that's not diesel as the third rail is always shut off during these situations.

God I miss NYC !! Been in L.A. since 1978 and still don't like the people here and that you NEED a car.. Love trains all my life and grew up riding the subways, especially the IRT... If you're comfortably living in NYC do not come out here... Oh, the weather is great, but the culture is lacking..

Because these trains are configured as four-car sets, so what's the point of a rollsign in the middle of the sets? However the R62s retain all rollsigns even in the middle.
