  • To understand diseases of the small intestine you must understand the cellular anatomy of the small intestine. Let's look at the epithelium, villi vs microvilli, intestinal crypts, plicae circularis and all of the other bits and bobs. We will look slowly at slides under the microscope and compare the duodenum, jejunum and ileum. They're similar but not the same. How does this relate to coeliac disease?

To be honest, you're such a blessing to the science world. I've seen so many of your videos as an educator to better understand and relay the information to my tutees. The amount of passion and energy you put into all your videos is beyond amazing. I hope you have a healthy life for yourself to continue doing what you're doing and have some time for yourself. Thank you for everything.

Hi Sam, you mentioned before that so far you have not covered embryology as lack of models. Perhaps you can do a course on embryology and development through histology slides?
