Girl you can make that! You can use steam a seam 2 and iron the letters onto your background. Then you just stitch an edge stitch around the letters. It would be amazing for on your wall.
FYI Ruby star is coming out this spring with yardage and it is all lines kinda, it is every selvage they ever made, so the whole fabric is selvages, with something like may a 2 yard repeat. Super cool. Can’t wait to get some, would be wicked for borders or sashings.
Hey! I literally did small basket handles appliqué for laundry basket quilts sew along... I had to make 4 handles. It was stressful, 1 I sewed a straight stitch the other 3 I did a zigzag. I kinda thought I did amazing when all said and done lol. I think if you do a sew along, you will get the encouragement you need and for those experienced appliquers, they will bestow their wisdom if you make a mistake 😊 I would love to see you try!
Andrea it's tracing and colouring in with fabric! You can trace, you can cut and you can iron.... et viola! Try one letter. Also can get your longerarmer to quilt it down for you. Hugs, Chel 🌸
Came over here to see what you were thinking!! Guess what?? Same as me. 😂😂😂 I think I will gift this box to a lady who is getting a new sewing room built. She can Embroider and will have a banner as well. Thanks for sharing.
Great unboxing with your usual truthful statements. Not my favorite box of goodies, but the pens are cute. No appliqué for me, either. Keep up the good work. 😉
It's actually super simple in that you can just iron on the letters. Since it's a wall hanging, you don't have to sew the letters down if you don't want to.
Since your favorite work for applique is can't, why not make a banner with pieced blocks. You could use your coloring skills and draw your own banner with permanent pens.
@@jolene2334 Hi Jolene! I try very hard to check on Andrea, Holly, Leana (PastryQueen), Cathy (My Hobby Home) and Krystal (Crystal Heart). Just got off a Live with Krystal and her cousin Celine.

Ok Andrea, stop telling yourself you can’t do this project cause you can do it. Just encourage your talents, they need to come outside your comfort zone. You can always print out letters that are more your style. Come on girl you can DO IT. Can’t wait to see it hanging behind you.

Great unboxing with your usual truthful statements. Not my favorite box of goodies, but the pens are cute. No appliqué for me, either. Keep up the good work. 😉
I agree with you and this project. I love it but it’s not my comfort zone. Maybe Natalie will do a tutorial!?😬
Not my cup of tea either so I am with you! Too many more fun things to do other than spend time on doing something like that.
I buy alphabet letters from dollar general for making words. Trace and cut out. They come in different sizes. 😊
Fabric is gorgeous you can figure out your way to get it done!
It's actually super simple in that you can just iron on the letters. Since it's a wall hanging, you don't have to sew the letters down if you don't want to.
Just eat the cookies. 😊
I think it’s cute
Andrea, you can do it. Get it on your fabric and hand stitch while you watch television.
I am with you…not into appliqué!
I think that if you don’t really like to this type of quilting you don’t have to. Quilting is suppose to be FUN not stressful!😊❤
Dip those cookies in chocolate! LOL! "Oh No!". I like the Eat More Tacos - even though I don't eat tacos...maybe Eat More Beans!
😂 😂
Hey Andrea, that is not my type of project either, but the fabric is nice. Tks for the unboxing!
The look on your face when crunching the cookies. Maybe they were from 2024? LOL.
Ruby Star has a fabric coming out which is all of their selvedges for the last 11 years June 2025. Check it out !
It’s not hard. A little tedious cutting, but it all just irons on. You got this.
You are just too funny today ,girlie girl💗🙏 work on your wipe. Lol
Wips
😂 😂
Put ARK GAL❤
Great idea!!!
U could do the letters with no shadows, or buy an alphabet pattern and piece some letters for a banner.
Great ideas!!!
You can do it. Give it a try
I hate doing applique. I love the look but doing it is stressful for me.
Yeah I’m not a fan of
Fabric line is Selvedge Magic
It’s a challenge, not to hard.
Nice box but not one I would choose
If you don't want the shadowing, just cut out the letters without it. It's like any other project, one step at a time. 🙃
Your too funny lolol
😂

I wouldn’t do it either. I agree….eat the cookies.
I would make a copy of the alphabet, take a color pencil and mark the parts that are supposed to be black. Then trace them on the fusible.
Hi Gina, I think we follow the same people. Really think I just read your comment on Holly's channel about the step stool! Just wanted to say hello!

Girl get a Cricut. Scan the pages in to a scanner to your computer upload them to Cricut and cut out the fabric with the Cricut.
Read the instructions on how to do it.

Don’t use the shadow piece. That should make it easier.
That would not be my cup of tea
I don't and don't want to do applique!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Don’t throw the pattern away, send it to me, please
