My problem is that the fan is working but not turboing and the laptop heats up really bad, any advice?

I accidentally yanked on the single black wire, causing it to come lose on one end, and it is not obvious where to reconnect it. Can you clear up this mystery for me, and perhaps even explain the purpose of this single black wire so I have a better idea of what I am trying to accomplish with it? Thank you!

There are five wires connected to the fan, four connected to the motherboard through the connector, and one single wire connected to the copper heatsink as ground. If you mean ground, you can solder it to the heatsink

If you're going to do all that, I would suggest you just replace the whole fan assembly with a new one. That's what I did.

Not always you can find a new one, and why not fix the fan yourself if you can and save money, the decision is up to you Thank you for your comment

you don't even seem to show the important part of taking the fan off and cleaning the bearing! like in this video: ruclips.net/video/2oDV3zlFB4U/видео.html

The problem shown in the video that you sent differs from the problem I addressed. The fan has different problems and different repair methods as needed.

@@ZeeEverything ha nah man once you got to that step you better take off the fan also as yours 110% collected dust there aswell and you just didn't clean it out only the most basic particles out the filter which doesn't require a video the length yours is...
