    You may find it easier to just remove the soap tank to access the spark plug. When I changed my spark plug I found the gap had almost completely closed.

      Awesome idea! I will have to try that at the end of the season. Thank you.

    Just going to say, if I'm watching a video to replace a spark plug you might want to let me know what tool you used to get the spark plug out!

    If the hose from the soap container is unplugged will this effect the engine

    • @RazorBucks
      @RazorBucks  4 года назад

      In my experience, only when using the soap head attachment.

    How about trying to fire it up for us when you finish something so we can see if your techniques work?

    Why didn't you gap the spark plug?

    • @RazorBucks
      @RazorBucks  7 лет назад +1

      Very good question and something that I should have went over. Spark plugs generally come with the gap set. The plug I bought comes preset to .030, which is the correct gap for this engine. I really appreciate your question and pointing out something I should have gone over.

    Dónde puedo conseguir el carburador que usa ese equipo?

      Your question is: Where can I get the carburetor that this kit uses? You can purchase a carburetor on eBay.

    Hey Friend, how would you go about changing out the pull cord?

    • @RazorBucks
      @RazorBucks  6 лет назад +1

      Let me look over the washer and get back with you. I believe there are 3 screws on top.

    • @RazorBucks
      @RazorBucks  6 лет назад

      I apologize, I have been busy at work and home renovations, do you still need assistance with this? If so, you just remove the red shroud, then unscrew the pull assembly, remove the pull cable and if broke, lay out both pieces together and measure the total length. Cut a new cable and put the old cable back in reversing the above steps. If you need a video of it, let me know.

      Thank you friend. I tried it by myself and found out I had to re cock the spring thing. And as I was doing it it broke. So now I’m having to buy a whole new assembly

    Have heard some bad review on these First Fire plugs from Lowe's . I'll just spend a couple more Dollars and not take a chance on it . I'm a Champion man when it comes to small engines anyway .

      It really is not bad, fires first time.

    Should have used some anti-sieze for the plug.

      The plug gets changed every spring season, but if I was leaving it in there longer, I definitely would.

    The spark plug is easy, just remove that piece of shit water tank, I took my water tank off and threw it in my fire drum, never use it anyway. And the carburetor on this piece of shit is really fucked up engineering. I’ve had this pressure washer for 13 years now. And I will never buy another pressure washer with a kohler engine ever again.

      Only 13 years, eh? I don't blame you. A pressure washer should last at least 40 years!

    • @handyman4048
      @handyman4048 3 месяца назад

      Agree 100%. Their engineering sucks. Look at what the6 put you through for basic maintenance lol

  • @handyman4048
    @handyman4048 3 месяца назад

    All that to get to the dam spark plug. I own this washer and it sucks. Always a b#tch to start, wheels suck, the attachment for the garden hose is in a ridiculously difficult spot for attachment after a year or so when it starts to freeze up and require two wrenches just to get the hose on. I’ll never buy another husky.
