Ive been waiting a long time for frostfire bolt to make its return. Not only is it fun to play but also one of the more visually appealing spell animations.

Frostfire seems more sustain dps for fire and frost specs while arcane hybrids help the burts dmg more. Thats my theory, but why add hero talents at all this is going to be a balance nightmare.

When they were overhauling specs for legion, i remember a blue bost or smth describing how its overdue. They usef frostfire bolt as an example saying it makes no sense how it doesn't just end up being a splash of water by the time it reaches the target.
So they made flurry instead.
That said, id he kinda disappointed if that specific spell is the gimmick here. But then again idk what to expect from a subspec with this name. Something with crit like you metrioned maybe, cuz it doednt have an obvious implication like san'layn being the vampire theme

Cool! I'm surprised other class theorists aren't doing these types of videos since it is free content before the War Within alpha comes out and basically spoils everything.
I feel like you can (A) guess 95% of which Hero Talents belong to whom (Druid is the hardest) (B) figure out with a decent chance what the Hero Talent's theme is since you have the base DF talents which aren't radically changing going into War Within and the entire class's history for potential inspirations.
Anyways, are you planning on doing the other Hero Talents? I feel like they are obvious (though obviously unconfirmed)
Sunfury - Fire and Arcane - named for Blood Elves - not sure what this tree could entail
Spellslinger - Arcane and Frost - process of elimination - could include some spell splitting like with Necrolord Frost, Arcane Artillery for Arcane with the current Tier set, some form of Multi Strike etc. It sounds like a Hero Talent setup that is all about firing off a lot of spells.
