- Today I am sharing how I prep a week of meals in 2 hours, in order to make life easier for my future self! These are all super quick, easy and delicious so definitely worth trying.

RECIPES & INGREDIENTS:
BBQ pulled pork: 0.5kg pork shoulder, 2 cups cider, 1 cup BBQ sauce, 2tbsp chilli jam, 1tbsp paprika, 1tsp cumin, salt & pepper - Pressure cook for 45 mins.
Extra large Chicken: olive oil, thyme, salt & pepper - Rotisserie for 45 mins.
Veggie Chilli: 1 onion, 3 garlic cloves, 1 pack chilli mix, 2 tins lentils, 1 tin kidney beans, 1 tin chopped tomatoes, 1 tin full of water to wash out the residue tomato, salt & pepper - Slow cook for 6 hours
Rice: 2 cups rice (1/2 cup per person) 3/4 cups water - Set to white rice cook.
Curry Paste: 1 onion, 3 garlic cloves, big nub ginger, juice of 1 lime, 200ml veg stock (1 stock cube), 1/2tsp turmeric, 1tbsp garam masala, 1tsp paprika, 2tbsp curry powder, salt & pepper - add chicken and rice when serving.
Noodle Soup: large nub ginger, 3 garlic cloves, 2 large pack choi, 2 spring onions - add chicken, noodles and chicken broth to serve.
Chicken Pie: 1 leek, 6 mushrooms, 250g soft cheese, 200ml chicken stock (1 stock cube), 1 heaped tsp wholegrain mustard, cooked chicken, puff pastry - brush with milk or egg mix - Air fry on 180C for 17 minutes.
Stir Fry: Baby corn, peppers, carrots, broccoli, spring onions - Fry for 5 minutes to soften veggies and cook noodles in pot boiling water, then serve with a portion of pulled pork & some of the juice from it.
Bean Soup: 1 onion, 3 garlic cloves, 2 carrots, 2 celery sticks, 1tsp thyme, 1tsp paprika, 1tsp cumin, 1 tin chopped tomatoes, 2 tins cannelloni beans, 1 tin butter beans, 2 tins full of water, 1 veg stock, 1 heaped tsp rose harissa, salt & pepper - serve with chunky bread.

hehehe.. it does seem overwhelming at the time, but then its TOTALLY worth it when you have a meal ready every night for the week! I freeze half the meals and keep the others in the fridge ready to use over the next couple of days :) xxx

I love all of the new meal prep recipe ideas. I really liked all of your dinners that you have made for the week ahead at home. My favourite dinners was the Chicken curry, Chicken noodle soup, Chicken and mushroom pie, Pork burgers, and pork stir fry but you can easily substitute the pork to making a chicken or beef stir fry and burgers, Veggie bean soup, Winter warming veggie chilli recipe ideas. They look so delicious and flavoursome as well! Meal prep in advance would definitely help and be more affordable because it cuts down your groceries bill down so much! And it gives you so much time off during the week! And you don’t have to be think Ky about what meals or dinners you’re going to be making for that week and all the meal prep has been done for you! The delicious chicken noodle soup is so delicious, so clinging and healthy as we are approaching coming to the winter season! 😍❄️. We had a lentil soup last week and it was clinging and packed with flavour amazing for a lunch or dinner as you said. Great video Kerry. I have just ordered the rice cooker (already have the air fryer) as I am rubbish at cooking rice the normal way.

You so need a food thermometer Kerry. Also, do you think the slow cooker inner pot would go in the oven say if I wanted to brown something. Ie dumplings on top of a stew ❤
Oohh that is definitely a good question but one I wouldn’t feel comfortable answering incase I got you the answer wrong and then the inner pot got ruined!!! I think you can go into instant brands website though and ask that question.. it would be amazing if it was oven proof too 👌
I love the Instant brand and I have a few different models now. I ordered the rice cooker from the website last night. I'd had my eye on it long before it was released over here, and it's a great price at the moment so I couldn't resist any longer. I noticed that there's hardly any vlogs available for the rice cooker so it would be great if you could make a vlog solely for that machine. I know it has multiple features, which I really like in an appliance, but some recipe ideas would be much appreciated 🙏🏻 I loved the slow cooker as well btw. I wasn't aware they'd added a slow cooker to their range 🤗

When I bought my Instant Pot (6L Duo Crisp + air fryer lid) I treated myself to a vented glass lid as well. [Amazon, about £10] It saves having to use the heavy lid if I'm not pressure cooking, like sauté or sous vide, keeps the heat in, and is easy to lift off while I give stuff a quick stir.
BTW: I picked up a giant turkey leg in Morrisons today. The label said 1600g (all showing the same weight & price) but when I weighed it at home it came out at 2473g. Yippee!! - Off to buy another one tomorrow before they sell out!

You have mentioned using soft cheese a few times and I'm hoping you can explain a bit more what that is for me (living in the US, the terms are different!) so I can see if it's something we have available here!
Yes of course.. its just Philadelphia.. we have lots of different brands of it over here and so I just call it soft cheese... but essentially.. its Philadelphia!!! hehe xxx

How long did it take to cook your rice in the rice cooker Kerry? I ordered one and there are no instructions enclosed. Thank you ❤
The rice cooker measures it all for you and sets the time accordingly.. cook it straight in the black bowl.. the silver one with holes is for steaming (I made that mistake at first 😂) add in however many cups and then I add 1 1/4 cups of water to each cup and it’s the perfect rice 🙌🙌
Ohhh my gosh, really do with the rice pot.....I'm not great at cooking rice
the rice cooker is great.. so versatile and I love how you can set it to start later in the day too!!! xxx
hi, is the instant air fryer oven easy to clean ?
Yes its so very easy to clean.. all the drawers come out and you can put them in the dishwasher and then you can just wipe out the inner oven part :) xxx

I find there's too many paid recommendations these days. Sad, because I used to really enjoy these food videos.
For all the content I create.. including my Sunday recipes, I would say maybe 5-10% (if that) of them have product placement within them. I create SOOOO much more non ad videos so I feel sad that you focus one the ads and aren’t happy to support that I work with brands I love, so I am able to continue making all of my other content for you to view and use anytime you need it xxx
