Dont back him for any of those races. He has been put out to paddocks for 2 months. He will be back in training come early March. He will have a warm up at mid April, for his destiny of winning a French Gold Cup in May. He will, however, be coming back to Kempton next Christmas to take on The King George on Boxing day. For the whole of 2024, i advise punters to keep on backing him Ante post, od few pounds/Euros here n there, around 3/1 right know, probably get down to odds on, closer we get. But if you have a couple of hundred running for you next Christmas, itll be a good investment, as only illnes or a fall on the day will stop him. His time was almost 5 seconds quicker than the King George on the same day... GL
Stand out horse of the day in the pre parade ring, looked like a Ferrari amongst Ford Fiestas and backed it up. Hope he stays sound and doesn’t get bottomed in a slog. Albeit 3lb less 4 seconds faster than King George.
Modern chase fences are like hurdles compared to the fences of 40 years ago. This guy is exceptionally smart but I am not sure of the quality of the rivals. Certainly a relentless galloper The runner up i certainly don’t rate as a standout novice and bizarrely it was bet on against this guy probably due to it being trained by Nichols. Certainly at least 7lbs better than Hermes Allen and possibly a stone better. Having watched it a second time, definitely a stone better than the second. Winner looks a natural jumper whereas the second doesn’t
