How to Make a Dirty Horchata Using Cold Brew Coffee

Dirty Horchatas are often made with a shot of espresso. However, in this recipe, I'm going to show you how it's done using a cold brew coffee instead! The advantages of using cold brew is that it often yields a slightly more "refreshing" cup. You could also make it super easy at home without needing an espresso machine. Full recipe details below:
Cold Brew Dirty Horchata Recipe
- 1/4 cup cold brew concentrate (coffee/water in 1:4 ratio)
- 1 cup horchata (any will work, refer to my horchata video if you need a recipe)
- 1 cup ice
Directions
1. Create cold brew concentrate by submerging coarse ground coffee beans in water in a 1:4 ratio for at least 8 hours before straining the coffee grounds out.
2. Add horchata, ice, and cold brew concentrate in a cup.
3. Stir and enjoy!
