The Old Gardner appears to be inspired by the Old Man in the Mountain, the legendary leader of the Hashshashin that ruled from his beautiful garden in the Fortresses of Alamut.
Being a JJK manga reader & watching this does something to a man. Deep down, he was unimpressed but just like Sukuna he puts everyone he works with to the test so it's almost like everyone is expendable in their eyes. I'm waiting for the day where he asks Yor to deal with Twilight. Also, we've yet to see Loid's teacher/boss. The show might go from Mr. & Mrs. Smith to John Wick & The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
He also reminds me of the Old Man in the Mountain, the legendary leader of the Hashshashin that ruled from his beautiful garden in the Fortresses of Alamut. The Elder from John Wick was meant to be a modern day Old Man in the Mountain. He was also the inspiration behind Al Mualim and Altair from Assassin's Creed.
I know this is scripted and all that. But can you imagine having your reflexes trained so well in real life, that you can dodge an attack, out of your field of vision, at that close of a range.
Probably. It's a plausible plot element for the series climax. 'Loid's' identity as Twilight will be exposed, Garden and the Shopkeeper will order Yor to kill Twilight, she'll go through some inner turmoil and ultimately refuse the order. Obviously, the Shopkeeper will take issue with that.

I mean she's still the same, think simple speak politely and all that. The first scene you saw her on assassin mode she literally asked the guy "may I have the permission to stop your breathing sir?"

You don't understand that Yor doesn't actually have any 'hidden darkness.' Yor has always been pure. It's true despite her being an assassin, which is obviously ironic. Yor was brainwashed by the Garden and the Shopkeeper as a child. She has no critical thinking skills. Yor absolutely believes it when the Shopkeeper tells her the reason a target needs to die is _literally_ for their own good. She trusts the Shopkeeper so completely that even when he thrusts a weapon at her, she still can't conceive of the idea that he's 'a bad guy.' The series climax will probably feature the Shopkeeper instructing Yor to kill Twilight. Obviously she'll refuse, because her bond with Anya and 'Loid' will have surpassed her loyalty to the Shopkeeper, and that's how she'll stop working for Garden as an assassin.

The man that made Yor into a Certified Human Weapon.
Do you mean Certified Human Simp
With that body she was born as a weapon tho😂
His theme is sooo intense and perfect for him & the introduction of Garden

He's a wolf in sheeps clothing.🐺🥸🐏
Who exactly? The shopkeeper?
@@kristopherhayes1957Who else?
He is a Super Assassin.
Leader of the Garden/Yor's Boss
His hair looks designed that way
"It is better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war."
Sukuna works for the East German Stassi!
If he’s the head assassin, there’s no question what fertilizer he’s using for this… garden.
His eyes remind me of Illumi Zoldyck from HxH
I totally see that to

Does he have the same voice actor as Sukuna? 💀 0:25
Yes.... Suwabe Junichi

So, imagine loid and yor kicking anya's kidnapper, the shopkeeper calmly watches, sipping wine, and then
ORA! ORA!

he reminds me so much of Winston from John Wick.
he kinda is! but i always imagine him with Lance Reddick's voice since it fits the character so well.
Same vibe yea

Yor vs Sukuna lmao
Shinobu and sukuna, i just realize the same voice actors
Just a guess... Yor vs shopkeeper in the future..
Unlikely as of now.
Might happen when she asks to leave, but who knows

She's supposed to switch to her assassin mode. Why still in her casual mode? I liked Yor because of her hidden darkness, where is the darkness?
