Despite being a remake, movie was good in its own way. Climax was bit simple and could have had more weight but still good. I have one doubt though. The portal and the super moon was not there when their friend came in to check them. Jiiva denied that he made the call but the friend said he got it. They explained the reason later but it was not clear if the friend was from the parallel universe and what happened to his character later. The portal (dark spot) was enabled only later at the night, when the street light went off and only AFTER the friend leaves from the villa. So he could not have crossed the portal both ways (while entering and leaving the villa). The whole movie is centered from Jiiva's POV. So from his view, the portal wasn't active but the friend came in without Jiiva making the phone call. It can be simply justified with a mention of parallel universe but wasn't explicitly conveyed I might have missed something. Hope someone clarifies.

Watching this movie was a different experience. Sound effects and BGM are good.
