I'd rather get hijacked, I'd choose R line🤞when it comes to cars you can't tell, even with that Suzuki you can die due to the performance. So I'd say it's all about preference
I think there are way too many polos and golfs out there and me personally i will get a swift sport and i want to modify it , cause i want to do sth different cause , yea i could get a golf gti but it seems just a bit too boring g even f you an get more power out of it
Guys, for the love of God, there is a difference between a “R” badge and “R-line” badge. Former is just aesthetics such a body kit and seats, the latter is aesthetics and performance upgrade. So a Golf R is not the same as Golf R-line.
To be honest, the Swift isn’t really Polo GTI competition. It’s a drivers car, meant to be a manual for driving on track or twisty roads. Straight line speed isn’t the point, weight reduction is💯.

I was just comparing the I20N and the Swift sport and my verdict was that the Swift Sport is the hot hatch between the 2.
But we don't have the I20 n in Sout Africa

Great little car. However, their only issue is, they suffer badly from stone chipping. I'd recommend a protective vinyl wrap on the bonnet/hood.
The stereo is a bit weak too but easily fixed by aftermarket parts
If you want a nice cruising car then the Polo any day but if you want a pocket rocket and looking for power then the Swift sport is your car

At 460k, just do a Polo Gti pre-owned or even a highline. At 220k, the Swift is mental value. At 460k, it would just be you that's mental..
Spending 400K + on this car is insane....rather get a polo gti with just under 50 000 mileage.
And Risk Being highjacked 🤣 gotta sleep with one eye open.....The only thing that the polo GTi has over this car Is the sunroof
