As an EDM lover this song is such a banger for my country to send! I live in the UK so the best part is I'll be able to vote for it 😂 Greetings Latvian sister 😊
@@Janaofficialmusic Unfortunately I don't know music production haha Hopefully someone will remix it! There are some EDM artists from Lithuania like Gaullin that could perhaps do it 🤞
When I was listening to the words they sounded to me like lockdown lockdown, now that you explained the lyrics the real translation is not far off, actual description of how lockdown felt. Makes this tune deeper personally, cool!
Translated for you to Lithuanian words if you need, the English translation is from google translate and it's really really bad, but i wrote this one in other videos, ill post i here also, if you want super english translation please let me know, but google translated it very bad, Lithuanian language is one of the most hardest in all over the world i think its in top 3 hardest languages. So here it goes. Why im saying that google translation is bad? Because it is. In English a lot of words come as two words and it even cannot describe what is meant to be in Lithuanian, because in Lithuanian for example you have 1 word to describe 2 or 3 words in English. Im from Lithuania i think this is the best one (song) so far over all the Eurovision years, maybe because i love electronic music, and also it was made with a colaboration with our best pop singer (who invested her time in music i believe, maybe even words) she's got most of M.A.M.A. awards which is like Lithuanian kind of best singers in Lithuania awards like Grammy, she had like 12 awards for all her time and ivestment for her work because she's really deserved it. She's Jessica Shy if you want to listen to her. Also a lot of people don't understand word of Luktelk - it have a lot of meanings in english and only 1 in Lithuania - it's kind of - "wait for some time but that time is not long" like just wait a bit kind of :) you can use it like wait for me im getting back soon after like to i dont know hard to describe, like wait for me a bit i have to answer a call in a restaurant. Or it could also be used for more time than like 10 minutes, like just wait for me for a bit i will get back to you VERY soon, like i wish to get back 100% but you will need to wait for a bit and that bit could only be described in Lithuanian, there is no word or words in English for it. But it's kind of romantic word. Like i don't know i thought English have a lot of words to describe something but it's not even 10% of what we Lithuanians have in our language. So for us to learn English is really really that easy because the language is sorry for my words but "poor" in terms of what can you say, you have to "make up" words in it, and in Lithuania every word have meaning, like you only need 1 word for like 3 English words. I don't know if it sound logical to you but i describet it as best as i can. Have a good day! [Verse 1] The day has passed and another one (viena diena ir vel kita) It's like the time has stopped here (tarytum cia data sustojo) I'm going here, I'm going there (einu tai ten, einu tai sen) And when the sun goes down and it's all over again(ir kai sutems ir vel is naujo) [Pre-Chorus] Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow (rytoj rytoj rytoj) I promise to love you tomorrow (pazadu mylest tave rytoj) In the good, in the good, in the good (laboj laboj laboj) You'll find me in the good night (surasi tu mane nakty laboj) [Chorus] Am I still alive? (Ar as vis dar gyvas? Boom boom) Do you still recognize me? (Ar tebe pazysti mane?) The sun doesn't rise up (Saule nepakyla) Tell me, will you stay close? (Pasakyk ar dar liksi salia) [Post-Chorus] Wait a bit, wait a bit (luktekl luktelk) One more minute, wait a bit (dar viena minute - luktelk) Wait a bit, wait a bit (luktelk luktelk) One more minute, hold on (dar viena minute luktelk) [Verse 2] The night has passеd, another night (naktis viena, naktis kita) Like always, I'm repеating it again (kaip visada as vel is naujo) Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow (rytoj rytoj rytoj) I promise to love you tomorrow (pazadu mylet tave rytoj) [Chorus] Am I still alive? (ar as vis dar gyvas "boom boom") Do you still recognize me? (ar tebe pazysti mane) The sun doesn't rise up (saule nepakyla) Tell me, will you stay close? (pasakyk ar liksi salia) [Post-Chorus] Wait a bit, wait a bit (luktekl luktelk) One more minute, wait a bit (dar viena minute - luktelk) Wait a bit, wait a bit (luktelk luktelk) One more minute, hold on (dar viena minute luktelk) [Bridge] We're standing in the silence of a radio playing (stovime tyloje, grojancio radijo) I no longer want to dance, I no longer want to dance (nebenoriu sokt, nebenoriu sokt) We're standing in the silence of a radio playing (stovime tyloje, grojancio radijo) I no longer want to dance, but I need to dance (nebenoriu sokt, bet man reikia sokt!!!) [Instrumental Break] [Chorus] Am I still alive? (ar as vis dar gyvas "boom boom") Do you still recognize me? (ar tebe pazysti mane) The sun doesn't rise up (saule nepakyla) Tell me, will you stay close? (pasakyk ar liksi salia) [Post-Chorus] Wait a bit, wait a bit (luktekl luktelk) One more minute, wait a bit (dar viena minute - luktelk) Wait a bit, wait a bit (luktelk luktelk) One more minute, hold on (dar viena minute luktelk) The best or worst part is this: To be honest he's not even popular, in Lithuania this is a first song of him that we ever heard, because of that he's gay man he gone to London for like 7 years, singing from very very young age, like when he was 4 years old he started music school, and yes he's young but there was too much Homophobic pressure in Lithuania at that time, and even now not that much but there still is. It's hard to describe for us not homophobics how much we love that we voted for him that much that he's in Eurovision now - it's a big win for our society who hates LGBT. It's a big progress here in Lithuania looking at LGBT situation and im happy about it. We have post-soviet era where older people like even in their 50's cannot stand LGBTQ and same in our parlament, too much old shit fat homophobic politicians and too much old generation who grew up in ruzzian era when we were in Soviet regime occupied, and when young party came and tried to do reforms they didn't got enough votes for it even like for small things like same sex marrage. Even Latvia and Estonia have these laws, but in our constitution we have two very different terms about it - one is against because only man and woman can have marriage and the other one is like - yes you could do that because we are all free and can do whatever we want. So we need to change laws first and i mean constitution laws which takes a lot of time and smart people in the parlament, which we don't have still. Too much homophobes with chill places and good payroll. Thats why they sit there. Our young generation are very liberal and want same sex marrage to be legalised like the first step at least, but our parlament grew up in Soviet era so when they leave we will have everything liberated and we will have LGBT rights installed. But for now we still have i hope not more than 5 years ahead for this change.
Also for you my sister Latvian, song is not even Sad. Its really really not sad really cool, chill and yes it's really cool. The words have meaning, this song also have really solid meaning. And i mean it - meaning that's everything. Sorry you can't understand all the words yes im also hard to understand Latvian words, i mean we have something in common but when i try to speak with Latvians i understand that languages are kind of similar but not that much like we used to think :) love u.

Unless he translates just for fun and not for Eurovision.
