the hinged doors are totally STAHL like. They have a typical Stahl doorhandle and also the noises it makes when you move it are very unique and ONLY to find at Stahl elevators. I can hear and recognise a Stahl hinged door on the first noises it makes :P I grew up with all these Stahl treasures :)
Yes i agree. I saw another block of flats with three staircases. Two of them had abandonded 70's OTIS elevators with manual doors while the third staircase had no elevator at all. I think they've just removed it completely as i could still see a machinerooms above all three staircases. Utmost strange and sad...
HA! I also somehow grew up with a LOT of 70's STAHL treassures... not in Denmark but will all my visits to Norway. They just call them Thorvald Sætre :P Many treassures which are still original :)
I'm very sure that Schindler delivered some of the technology to Efacec, so they installed elevators under their own brand but licensed from Schindler, just like Wertheim in Austria and Reber in Norway
The fixtures is made by ACEC (Stop video at 2:30) ! This is a Belgian company (Complete name: Ateliers de Constructions Électriques de Charleroi) located in Charleroi. They make the tram type with BN (Today: Bombardier Transport Belgium) that ride the Coast Tram and the Charleroi Light Subway .
No, it is not ACEC. It is EFACEC, which is a Portuguese company that originally manufactured these elevators. However, it did spun of from ACEC, unfortunately. I say unfortunately because all things made in this country, Portugal, always have to be mixed with foreign interest.
Very good video and i liked that you could have done a few more videos in the azores schindler elevator the mall atlantic park center shooping and panoramic elevators schindler in underground park perk.
i like the elevator speed. this must be kept original. best not to use the stop button then. four people can easily fit in there. with you on the floor indicator being awesome.
This elevator is not manufactured by schindler but by efacec portugal. The schindler makes tehe maitenance and repair of the elevator in the video. Because schindler and one of the bes companies of elevators and escalators in almost all over the worl.
Very nice Elevator. I recorded EFACEC Elevators and Comportel Elevators in Setúbal in Portugal

I did film more elevators on the Azores Islands, the videos have just not been edited yet. They will come online in the future
5 floors i think. Here is also even an office building with 7 floors where the only elevator is not working.
Who destroyed elevador 2?
