- RECIPE FOR MOTTEN KLEPON FILLED WITH RED SUGAR
Material :
150 gr grated coconut
2 pandan leaves
1/4 tsp salt
brown sugar to taste
150 ml water
2 tsp granulated sugar
200 gr sticky rice flour
1/2 tsp pandan paste (to taste)
steam coconut 10 minutes
How to make :
1. Put grated coconut, pandan leaves and a little salt in a container then stir all the ingredients so that the salt is evenly mixed then heat the steamer and steam the coconut for -+ 10 minutes
2. Slice the brown sugar into small pieces to make it easier to fill the klepon
3. Pour water into a pan and add granulated sugar, then dissolve it and cook the sugar water until it boils
4. Add the sticky rice flour and pour in the sugar water little by little until it becomes a dough and add a little pandan paste as klepon coloring
5. Take a little dough and fill it with brown sugar then round it
6. Boil water and add the klepon and cook until the klepon floats and is cooked
7. Prepare the steamed coconut and add the boiled klepon one by one then wrap the klepon in coconut
8. Serve on a plate and klepon is ready to enjoy
