Amazing!!! You finished 3 minutes faster than me and mine were 2-7tears before my cancer diagnosis! You are so incredibly likeable. I’m not sure what it is but you’re like a ray of sunshine and some fresh air. I’ve dealt with thyroid cancer that spread to around my lungs so I had radiation after surgery. I’m also now dealing with infertility as radiation harmed my eggs unexpectedly. Have had 2 miscarriages but am doing IVF now (got 1 good embryo from one round that made me very sick), trying to pay $22k back from round 1. Currently trying to raise money to fund round 2. I just want my miracle dream baby. I’ve had 3 suici*de attempts, and only my now 2-year- old pup keeps me here right now.
My word was “believe” and when I did my first full marathon (nearly crawled through finish) and I got the tattoo of the word aftwr that race. Many congrats to you! Adorable kids and I feel so much like you for some reason. I love your hair in your most recent video and was wondering how you did it?? Your little wave on your right, I think our left- looks like you just made a few waves w a straightener?
Gained a new sub today and I’m so in awe of you!! Oh I also did 1 ultra trail run-50 miles and camped in the forest the night before. It was awful. I wish I could get back into running but my herniated discs in my back would really suffer ☹️Much love from PA ❤
I am so proud of you Meredith!!! Emotionally, I was praying you would not trip, fall, etc. on that wet and slippery course. I am sure there were quiet a few of us pulling for you throughout your run. What an amazing job finishing 13.1 miles!!! And whatever happens from here on, YOU FINISHED 13.1 MILES!!!!!!! And that speaks volumes helping to define who you are. Now, I am only following on RUclips, so thanks for the updates. There has not been a day that goes by that doesn't include you and your family in my prayers!!!! And I am willing to bet by exercising (and your plant-based diet) it will help you continue to keep looking and feeling very good. Cancer will NEVER define who you are!!!!!! Congratulations on a job well done!!! God Bless, Barry
Quite, not quiet. I made a mistake. Oops.
Oh you are so kind 🥰 thank you so much for saying all that. Your support and prayers mean SO much to me. So grateful for what I was able to accomplish, and I’m so glad I can share it with everyone here on my channel. Thanks for watching!
Well, I had no doubt whatsoever that you would crush it! 🙌🙌🙌 you absolutely rock girl 🙌💛✨
Aw thank you so much 🥰❤️ I appreciate you!
I know we don't know each other, but I follow your channel. I wanted to let you know how proud I am of YOU! I actually started crying right at the same point you started crying in your video. I could feel your emotion. You are the epitome of a warrior. Your tenacity is what's made your journey through surviving melanoma, to slaying your first half-marathon successful. I ran my first half-marathon 5 years ago when I was 55-years-young. I was living in Florida at the time, and my 27-year-old niece knew it was on my bucket-list. So, she and I, and probably a thousand plus other people from across the country ran the Disney Princess Half-Marathon. I finished it, and had an even better finish time than my sweet niece. I guess I'm just a little competitive. Actually, as you get older, you find that you appreciate your accomplishments so much more, and what you can still help your body do for you. I didn't really properly prepare for it the way I should have though, and had pretty bad abdominal pains afterwards. Everything ended up okay. You've inspired me to do my ultimate half-marathon, where Marathons originated - Athens, Greece. If you think you may want to do that, I would love to have a run buddy. You could probably help give me advice on how to better prepare for it. Either way, I'm so very proud of you. P.S. My mom heart melted when I heard your kiddos, and hubby cheering you on! XoXo...
Oh you are so sweet, and I’m so grateful to have you here as part of this community on my channel! It certainly does feel AMAZING to show up for yourself and see what our bodies are capable of. I bet that Disney half marathon was SO fun (I’m definitely a Disney gal). And how INCREDIBLE would a race in Greece be 😱 I would love to be an accountability partner as you train for sure! I’m actually working toward creating a FB group as a new way to interact with this community, and I think this will be a great way to build accountability within that group ❤️ be on the lookout!!
Very well done, you are amazing, you should be so very proud of yourself 😊
Oh thank you so much 🥹 you are so sweet. Thanks for watching and for your support!! 🫶🏻
Hi Meredith! What an amazing Vlog. I am constantly in awe of your challenges and achievements in life and how you handle them! Such a beautiful and gutsy lady you are. My eyes narrowed when you were talking about the guy that wouldn't move over in the marathon at first when you were passing him.😮 Spoilt sport!
I must comment on how gorgeous and healthy your skin and hair looks. I'm not really religious but I do thank the lord 🙏 on how lucky I am to just be me...XOXO ❤😊
Oh you are so so sweet, thank you so much! 🥰❤️ (and so glad to pass that guy in the race lol) thanks for watching and for your continued support. It means SO much!
We are all so proud of you Meredith ❤ … but not as much as you should be proud of yourself - you’re the one who accomplished this knowing all you’ve had to face over the past three years - you’re something else - love and best wishes to you from Toronto ❤❤
Thank you so much, Denise. So nice to hear from you! You’ve always been such a ray of sunshine here on my channel. I hope you’re having a happy holiday, and best wishes for the new year! ❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations!! What a great accomplishment in so many ways! I did a trail race once, a 10k. I loved it but it was wet and I was paranoid I was gonna fall or slip and mess up an ankle. You are so brave, when I was watching I was like don’t slip!! And of course well done after all you have been through! You are a true fighter, I’m glad you are proud of yourself!❤❤ What a jerk that guy was!!😂
Thank you so much! Yes, those slippery trails can be tricky for sure. And I appreciate your kind words and support. It means a lot 🫶🏻
