I've seen a lot of videos that tells me "It's gonna be hard, tough and so on and what not...", but this is the only video that really pierced through my heart, it even made me cry a little knowing that someone somewhere knows the pain and struggle of making your dreams come true, you see, i've been hustling for my business for a couple of years now and what I've come to realize and accept was that almost everyone will listen to you but only a few and sometimes none will truly understand what you feel.
I've come across a lot of motivational channels and videos but nothing motivates me more than someone successful speaking about his struggles that I am also going through right now. Makes me feel that I am on the right path.
    Thank you so much Dan!

One of very few YT channels and materials available online that actually holds any value. 90% of the guys giving "business advice" etc. just talk bullshit and don't give any actual advice on problems you might be facing, are dishonest about their businesses and just show the final result, skipping the part of how to actually get there, what kind of skills you need to at least acknowledge. Watching your videos for the last couple of weeks made me rethink my whole perspective on business and the way things are and totally reinvent my business model and strategy. Never been more excited to go to work now and just a month ago I was on the edge to give it up completely. Keep up the good work.

I’ve quit my job last month because despite of giving my 100% and being on the right track the vice chairman of the group humiliated me, calling me names for the second time in less than a month that too in front of everyone. I was happy with my job since I knew I was doing everything right and everyone knew that. I had a bunch of fantastic colleagues too yet I’ve always desired to start my own business. That incident gave me a wake up call and here I’m starting my rough ride to be an entrepreneur. I’m getting married next month and I can tell how hard this can be for me and my to be wife but I can never be so determined ever. This is the opportunity I was waiting for and this video popped up exactly at the right time. I’m very happy for you Dan. You have a supportive better-half, which made your journey a less rough. I have my fiancee’s support too and I hope she can trust me till the end on this. Thanks for the message. Really appreciate it. Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩

My husband and I were listening to this video. We own a custom T shirt and apparel co. Many nights my husband works double shifts in front of that computer tirelessly brain storming new designs, ways to improve business, advertisment and etc. He often stays closed up never sharing his defeat some days and his joy others.
What I have learned from this is understanding the internal struggles my husband faces silently. Also without sacrifice, self education, perseverance, tenacity and self belief this road of self owned business would lead no where.

That is true. It very painful to try out entrepreneurship especially when your own family does not understand you, and you had made so many sacrifices and they just compare you with others having their material thing because of the job they got. They don't even try to see if it could work out if by in the process they don't see you get a salary and try to bring your mind and behavior down. Most people think that material things and a boss that pays you are who can give you your own worth value. Then they offer a tip to move to other less valuable skills jobs that don't fill the meaning you want to give to your own life. Then the worst part is that they don't even value the great skills you have and they are the ones you love.

I grew up watching my dad go to work in simple clothes, packing a lunch every day and coming home covered in dust and exhausted. He was a serial entrepreneur learning a trade and then starting his own company, a cement company, a construction company, an investor in real estate, a tile company, and now flipping condos and renting them (at 82 years old). I was the oldest, and the family translator. I think the children of immigrant families or first generation immigrants know entrepreneurship is a humbling experience and it's scary and hard work and there are feasts and famines. You keep working hard because you've lived through the famines and you know one is around the corner, so you stay 'in the flow'. The top dogs in business are the lotto winners, most of us just keep pushing forward and either diversify or pivot when things are not going well, but we never give up. It's the love of the game.

At the end of the day, we look in the mirror and report to ourselves if we've made the right decisions and achieved the goals we wanted. Sometimes it's not pretty and need to cut losses and move on and leave people behind during life's journey. As long as you walk in the light and learn from mistakes, the pain endured is productive and part of the process and in preparation of what lies ahead. Thanks for sharing and motivating. I reside in Vancouver and have subscribed to your channel recently and have learned so much from you. You've helped stir up the inner fire and made me think again. Dan, over the holidays I came in RUclips to learn more about entrepreneurs, how they think and all that. I stumbled on your channel and boom!!! I can't count the number of your video I have watch. Guess what, they have all made a very huge impact on me. I commented on the first video and I must say here that I am going through a very rough phase in my business. I started a precious stone business where I buy from Africa and take to Bangkok, Thailand to sell. I lost a lot of money through people who duped me, sold bad stones for me and over priced some items I bought. I came back from my trip losing money and in debt. I learned so much about the trouble entrepreneurs go through and how to come out of it by watching several of your videos. I think I am on the right track and I am bouncing back. I am heading back to Bangkok in a month's time and I will come back victoriously. Thank you Dan and thank you Jenny for being a wonderful and supportive wife. God bless you.

One day you came up in my recommend and not knowing who you were I just clicked expecting to hear the same old same old. Right out of the gate your words hit me hard. So hard that I stopped in the middle of my work and ever since you have had my undivided attention. You teach money but more importantly mindset, truth, struggle, strategy, and sacrifice. Most people just try to sell us on an idea to make themselves more money. You sell reality. I have your book and i will buy every lesson or book you have to offer. Not only have you changed my business but you have changed my life. Let the haters hate. You are legend. Semper Fi.

Sifu, its super powerful testimony. This video only came from many many years of experience and success. I myself lost good friends. Its a very lonely path. My cry can only be shared with my life partner and God. Couldnt agree more that we do this not for the money. But to see how the journey changes us for the better. Despite of the loneliness, the haters, the betrayals from good friends, the stress, its all worth it individually and collectively. Thanks so much sifu and spouse. Keep reigning till I see your shiny hair to silver hair!!!!

Dan, thanks for your work. Strangely enough, as my business finally got traction after so many failures, I discovered your work (videos, books) and I started to implement some of your ideas into my work principles.
Maybe the most visible trait I got from you is the sense of emergency. "Get rich fast". I mean, I am an upper ("uppest" I should say) middle class citizen, so I don't have any trouble to make basic ends meet. But I feel this urge to succeed and to progress. From my little success, I started hiring and freeing more time for myself so I can work even more, meaning, I can focus on others aspects of my business and see how I can expand. I might put even more hours now, but the nature of my work has been drastically changed.
I rarely comment on any given video, but I feel like I should take the time to do so on this one. The hardships, the loneliness sometimes, all those have strong echoes with me.
Love from France. Keep up the good work.

Sitting here crying, because that is exactly where I am. Nobody that I know has their own business. Except for my husband, it feels like nobody cares about the downs. The little success that are so great in my eyes, are not something my friends understand let alone get excited about. This video helped me in so many ways to feel like I am NOT alone. I am NOT doing all this for nothing. I am adjusting my expectations.
I have some refining to do with my business. This has given me courage to keep going.
    Thank you for sharing!

The journey you two lovelies are talking about is not just entrepreneurship. It's life. It's about growing and further cultivating your own identity when one identity has to die in order for a new one to surface. It's the ability to find that new coping mechanism that you didn't even know you've been missing. It's about launching yourself and absorbing as much energy as you can and then chewing it with any new skill you can get. Money... money is the same no matter where you are at. Some people think money is in a job, money is in a boss or in a deal or a business when money is always in you, in oneself. The center of everything is in you. And the haters... sweet, blessed haters representing the vibrational gap. You gotta adore them to pieces. They are the new desires being hatched. They come with brilliant ideas they do not know how to name yet and you can see their absolute value when they do dare to mingle with uncomfortable energy coz they deeply know how worthy they are of getting it. Great job guys!! I'm happy you two are authentically following your path!! There is great love here for you!!

Dan, this is one of the most impactful entrepreneur videos I have ever seen. The reason is that you had your wife on the video as well, to attest to the entrepreneur's journey. It represents her support for you, no matter what. The true greatness of a King, is to have the tenacity to go it alone, but when he has a Queen who supports him, he can conquer anything. This video represents total exposure to the true cost of entrepreneurship at not only the entrepreneur level, but also at the family level. I admire you for including your wife. I just so happen to have the same kind of support from my wife. As a former Marine and entrepreneur, I have every right to have an ego, but my ego does not make me successful, the support of my wife makes me unstoppable. Much love and respect to you and Jenny. You both are so wonderful. Thank you for your encouragement brother. Now it's time to get back on the lion!!

I thought my parents were entrepreneurs up until about 5 years ago.... because the industry they were involved in was directly affected by new government policies. I warned them. I YELLED at them to sell their business before it was too late. I showed them evidence of what decisions politicians were about to make. My parents made the erroneous assumption that the good times were going to roll no matter what. As a result of their stubborness to not even listen to anything I had to say, my parents LOST at least 1 million dollars.
Lesson learnt... ALWAYS assess the health of the industry you have invested in. Be on top of what politicians are doing. Never delay in exiting from a bad investment. WORD!

This video was amazing and I am glad you had the decency to share this with us. You any Jenny are both very inspiring and you are just beautiful people inside and out. Your videos are just amazing. You can tell you love each other very much and that you are both each other’s guides in the world and that is the way any healthy relationship should be. Relationship goals.
I understand the thing about your mum/mother in law as I have a limit on what I want too. I just want to be able to afford a decent house with a nice big garden that I can grow plants and veg in and have chickens that lay eggs. I also want a hot tub and a nice barbecue so that I can make burgers for my family and friends. I never want my kids to struggle or feel lonely and I want to be present for them most of the time. I want to bake cakes, make ice cream and art projects with them and to help them with school projects about volcanoes and what not. I want to take my kids (that don’t exist yet) to nice places on holiday and help them to be free thinkers and I never want them to be wage slaves.
Enough about what I want, the point is that you are right, we are all the same people on our journey to achieve self-actualisation and happiness and we shouldn’t bring each other down for being different. Thank you for the advice and well done to Jenny for also staying strong and I being an entrepreneur myself know how much stress I put on my man and I appreciate him so much ❤️

I love the vibe between these too. There's a big faith of thinking and growing. The fact that where Dan is now if it's in the future or the past Dan is moving forward and what people don't understand is that Dan is not stopping till the end and that's what a real entrepreneur is. The sad part being an entrepreneur is ,people don't get it, if someone have a limiting belief that's not an entrepreneur. Abundance is the key and ABUNDANCE doesn't come from material but rather in him self.
