- This is Volume 1 of Assassins Creed Bloodstone, it does move onto a second volume, but I Wanted to see how you guys feel about the video game comics.
This covers the 1950s, the 2000's (The Purge) and 2017 of the AC Timeline

Its taking me a LOT longer than I planned to read the Assassin's Creed Odyssey Game and Book. So we're moving into a few other topics to get the lore on a weekly release, which is what my goal is. Bloodstone is first, The Purge and the Desmond Files are my plans. Nathalie (the other original channel owner) is excited to cover more Final Fantasy Content, so we'll probably open the channel back up to a few other games soon. (I want a few more Assassin's Creed centric ones before we do others) If you guys enjoyed this comic read, we'll probably have a look at the Sonic ones as well.

Just a thought, but wouldn't it make sense to drop the "Assassins Creed Lore" from the channel name if you plan to cover other things
@@arcanepayaso I will, I threw it on there originally just to clarify 2 things. 1 I was back to working on gaming lore, 2 I wanted this to primarily be assassins creed stuff. But as I started working on things I realized I just wanted to talk about all games lore again lol
I had no idea Assassins creed went to Vietnam because that sounds really awesome and tons of fun.

It's always fun seeing a comic with Vietnamese people and culture to see what's accurate...and what's inaccurate. This is gonna be a fun one to pick up.

Im so happy there is an vietnam assassin creed
Pretty disappointed the protagonist wasn’t a Vietnamese soldier, not just for representation, but because it would make so much more sense and a better story. The Vietnamese fought like assassins, they knew every detail to their environment and set up intricate traps that were designed to brutally kill the Americans. They hid in holes and tunnels for god sakes, they were the stealthiest of stealth when it came to military techniques. They would hide in holes smaller than half the width of an average American soldier and ambushed them from trees. The Americans had no idea where bullets were even being shot from or where the Vietnamese were as they watched their men get killed.

Come to think of it AC in vietnam would fit especially game play wise with using the jungle to your advantage and maybe sneaking into enemy positions and also sabotage or guerrilla warfare.

This week Im trying to get out the other half of the Bloodstone story, but next week I want to do an overview of both Purges (1700's and 2000's) Then cover the comic a week or two after that.
I’m not gonna lie, when you mention the purge which resulted the assassins almost wiped out by the Templars and a few went to hiding, this is a lot similar to Star Wars as the Jedi’s was wiped out and a few survivors went to hiding afterwards from the purge.

Assassin's Creed considered everything canon, even the movie. The only thing I've found out of continuity as of right now is the Watch Dogs connection.

So I guess literally every movie and book involving the Vietnam war is disrespectful by that logic?
I wouldn't say that's an inherent quality of an AC story set in any given time period, but it is always a risk when you have writers that don't completely understand the nuances of that time period.
