I'm sorry to hear that Bronx is going to lose his leg. I'm sure he will be able to adapt and be as active (albeit safer, I hope) as before. My little dog was knocked down last Sunday and died instantly. I'm devastated. I'm glad Bronx survived.

I feel so bad for Bronx. While I get that accidents happen, this was completely preventable. I know a few videos ago people were saying to put up a fence. And that can be expensive so I get why they don't really want to do that. But get an invisible fence for dogs. Look it up! Way cheaper and no actual fence needs to be built and it uses GPS so you can set the parameters for how far the dog can go

why "no"? do you even know what I am talking about lol Imma Turkey. I have heard from a lot of people that they work great. The collar sends a warning tone that only the dog can hear that tells the dog they are getting too close to the border. When setting it up they often get a trainer to teach the dog what the sound means. And eventually the dog will learn that you don't want it going farther than a certain distance and you can take the collar off (although they don't recommend it for some dogs that will take the collar off to meaning freedom and they bolt). So your options are either a) build a really expensive fence b) No fence and your dog goes missing every so often OR c) get an invisible dog fence that is less expensive and trains your dog to know where you want it to go/ not go.
