- A personal story about my return to a Paris restaurant whose memory stayed with me for 33 years: La Tour de Jade in Rue de la Michodière. Fortunately, some things never change.

Just visited La Tour de Jade due to your recommendation and it was great! We will definitely come here again. Thanks!
I'm really pleased to hear that. Thanks for posting :)
What a great true story!
What a story! Thanks for sharing! Loved it as much as your coffee videos.
I know content like this may not always fetch the most views, but this is the kind of content I love to see on RUclips. I want to know about people’s personal favorites. Thanks for sharing! Will definitely seek this place out if I ever happen to be in Paris.
Oh man ! This lovely story makes me crave so much to dine again in that cheap but excellent khmer restaurant I used to go to, sometimes several times a week, during my study year away in NZ.
Unfortunatly it's now precisely halfway around the globe...
Great you got to experience it again after this long, and share with your family !
My way to share it was to learn the recipes of my favourite dishes from that restaurant, and grind them until I got close enough from my memory 😅
I hope you can circle back one day :)
Coucou mes enfants! A little something from the heart. Please enjoy :)
Will be in Paris this December and will check it out. Thank you!
Great. Circle back and let us know how you liked it :)
That's funny, I too had a 20 odd year wait to go back to a restaurant near there. Café Capucine on Boulevard des Capucine. It's a great area, and wonderful to relive old food memories. They had one same special dish I absolutely loved. I'll need to try that place when I go back.
In a world of McDonald's, be a La Tour De Jade.
Great story!
The fact that the owners didn't sell or pass away after 3 decades and the food quality didn't change is a miracle.
