Fun fact: A LOT of misconceptions of early Tekken's story and lore, some even persisting to this day, in the English fanbase come from a FAQ posted on Gamefaqs that referred to itself as a 'Story Guide' but was actually the (self-admitted) fanfiction of the author trying to tie together characters and stories from the sparse and vague information T1-3 gave with his own interpretations. Since a lot of story info was only in Japanese and not known by the English fanbase, this led to the spread of the 'info' from this FAQ as second hand knowledge.
