@@quantumblur_3145Scav AI is very complex. Their behavior is influenced by a reputation system like most creatures, but also by a combination of 6 personality factors (dominance, aggression, bravery, nervousness, energy, and sympathy). I’m guessing that particular scav had a high sympathy stat, but it’s hard to say for sure.
"Suddenly died underwater" is known as drowning, which is to say, probably should take a breather every time before you go for a dive, instead of going at it again immediately. It is normal to be frustrated, though, as every player eventially realize that water is the bane of your existence.
Those first encounters with the scavengers realising how intelligent they are and how they respond to you was the moment I fell in love with rainworld This game’s environments feel so alive in ways I haven’t seen anywhere else
I _vividly_ remember my first encounter with the scavengers! It was in the industrial complex at the top of room C04. I entered from the left side and a band of scavies was chilling on the opposite side of the gap. First they froze, then all but one or two crowded the ledge to peer at me. There was a pause for a moment or two as I, and presumably they, stood baffled. Suddenly a lizard came from the right side and they all scattered! It was such a surreal moment.
The moths, batflies officially, are passively caught by the slugcat if they're not full and have a free hand I believe, you just gotta be close enough. You can actually see them reach out for one.
Keith opening that popcorn plant near the end is the epitome of greed; if it keeps giving you food, it's a waste to open when there's other things to eat, especially when you can leave it for a cycle where your stomach is completely empty
Everyone who hasn't should go read Since November, Kieth's VN. Is good, will might make you feel things and like this game, might make you think. Shares the same ambient horror vibes too.
hm. given the gap in time between when you record vs upload to youtube, this might be advice that is too late to be useful. but on the other hand, it's advice that is pretty broadly useful in this game, i think (completely spoiler free). consider that pressing buttons without a clear idea of what those buttons are about to do is often to your detriment. and the more buttons you're pressing, the more muddied the waters get re: the outcome of actions. been greatly enjoying the playthrough so far, though! good luck! oh and congrats on the backflip discovery.

Your Shaded Citadel scavengers are so incredibly nice! You don't even have to trade with them, they just keep giving you lanterns as gifts.

Some big lugs do not know how to stop and fill their big lungs.
He even said he was boosting while swimming, which can absolutely drain your air faster, every region is essentially a new game mechanic to learn.
You can *hear* the underwater button mashing lmao, it's so painful to hear
1:32:51 me when that yellow dude guides me straight into spiders/lizards/other mischiefs
i look forward to the day that keith comes to the realization that spears can be thrown at enemies

Bro thats uh... helluva start for a video. These next four years are gonna be fuckin... not great.
Yeah. I feel it too. I made sure to renew my passport as soon as it was clear this BS wasn't going to go well.

48:36 Slightly painful to see him keep going for the lantern mouse despite a much more portable lantern having dropped down right by 😂
Oh wow, a scav just laid it out for him plainly this time around

Him not seeing the free lantern at 49:55 was heartbreaking 🥲
Good thing a scav gave him another chance!
Shoreline threat music is my personal favorite lol, im also glad/amazed at how far you've come in just 3 episodes good work

Considering the entire appeal of this for many people is me playing the game unspoiled, good.

why is this video so disliked omg
I don't have the extension to see the number myself, but I would guess it's because of the first few seconds of the video.
It currently has one dislike.
