    I always say to anyone that's a Heinzer fan, that he gets away with the crazy stuff because people aren't used to it at this level and he has the capability to fence normally. Plus at this point you never know what you're going to get, crazy Heinzer or patient Heinzer and at any moment he might switch. It's clever but most people will never pull it off.

    Loved that toe touch by Borel after Heinzer missed the toe. Great collab with the analysis.

      My Instagram is gpfencing and I feel it has a nice ring to it!
      Also my wife made me a logo so it was a good excuse to switch the RUclips as-well!

    Hey Sam! Here were my thoughts while viewing. Thanks for the upload!
    I like the context given to their styles and recent match outcomes, but the first point wasn't shown until 8 minutes in.
    Could either shorten the intro, or put a timestamp for when the match starts. Pacing after the match began was much better - there was review for each hit but it didn't feel drawn out or over-analyzed. Sam's camera is a bit dark/backlit (and a tad smaller than TFC's on the screen but that's hardly noticeable). Personally, I like the asides about personal experience but it does take time from the analysis. Might be helpful to have some explanation of some technical things (yielding parries, temps perdu, etc.) Overall, could be a tad shorter but I liked the dynamics between the both of you and the analysis was fun to see!

      Great feedback thank you!
      Ill definitely add some time stamps to help out.
      As for the length its gonna be in the nature of these more raw unfiltered analysis.
      The technical things I will keep in mind and try to practice it as I keep making videos since for me these terms are second nature but I forget lost of people don't know..
      For the lights It's partially time difference for me / lighting in my house. I'll eventually fix it but since I make 0$ from this its gonna take time to afford decent lights!
      But this kind of feed back is great. Thank you for sharing it!

    Hi, Heinzer is almost never in 8 his favorite movement's are 6 counter-sixte-second or sixte-second-counter second. At 13'05 he beated second before touch under arm. But you're right at 15'34 Borel made a mistake after the 4 or 5 parries from H. It's better to stay closer. H was a foil fencer before and when he has more place he can riposte easier.

    I love the video! At ~8:32 Samuel says "he beats to check" What exactly do you think he is checking for? What tells/response might he be awaiting? Thanks!!

    • @GPFencing
      @GPFencing  2 года назад +1

      Very often a beat will be to check to see if there's a reaction from the oponent.
      In this scenario Borel instantly notices the lack of reaction from Max and punishes almost instantly, as you can see right after Max might get a parry but it was so late there was no chance especially vs a guy like Borel!
      Hope this helps!
