Ice Cream Man - Tom Waits

So. This song was a bit of a surprise for us. We have been jamming it for a little while but never really rehearsed it for anything serious. One day we were at work, because we both work full time jobs, and realized it could make for a cool video. So that day, while at work we agreed and mentally prepared. We got home from work and took 10 minutes to figure out the structure and some very basic melody lines on Nick's end. I pulled up lyrics and had to read them as we played the song. I know! Its such an amateur move, but whatever. I like to, sometimes, play music that is not very rehearsed. I don't want everything to be scripted down to every note. So we improvised! We made some mistakes, that's life. We are who we are and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Hope you enjoyed it! We do these videos for you!

Sounds more raw (therefore better) unrehearsed than I would imagine would sound otherwise.. it's a dirty song, it's supposed to sound a bit drunk to have that low ceiling smokey room vibe to it that Tom Waits embodies, that's dope musicianship right there, really great cover
