❤❤❤When you go to NC, be very careful. Several 18 wheelers pulled into a rest stop for the night. When they woke up next morning, someone had slashed every tire on the 18 wheelers. Prom is tonight?! Yay! I now have plans to make popcorn and watch as I attempt to work on organizing a mess I created. (Note to self - never ever start a big project just before breaking your predominant shoulder! Lifting and stacking 18 gallon totes of 'stuff' is interesting.) The willingness to gather, sort, pack and transport much-needed supplies to western NC is so awesome and so typical of Steph and Buddy. (You may have plenty of everything but just a thought = multi-vitamins. Senior Silver, chewys for children, regular for adults. Survival mode doesn't always include good nutrition.)

When I was still working at USPS before retirement, I used to write a letter to businesses asking for donations ( water, Gatorade, Ice, snacks) for our yearly food drive. As long as I wrote a letter requesting I received for free or a massive discount plenty. You should try with Home Depot, Lowes, Sams Club, Wal-Mart. Letting them know what you are doing, if they could donate. Doesn't hurt to try. This may increase your donations. Good luck. Love what you all are doing. ❤❤.
