You are so helpful and such a brilliant example of how great classic cuts and gorgeous colours are timeless! I've been looking for inspiration that revolves around fabulous colour combinations. Thank you for new ideas and links to wonderful online outlets!
Goellia‘s clothes are mostly made of synthetic. Also, I am unsure of how ethical any production in China is, just don’t want to support the distruction of the environment or mistreatment of workers 😢
I like some Goelia items, but these are my two tips for this brand: 1. Order up at least one or two sizes, their Asian sizing is much, much smaller than Western standards are; and 2. Avoid their acetate and triacetate pieces, these fabrics don’t breathe at all, they’re no improvement over the synthetics. For example, I ordered a blazer in a size Large, even though I’m a US size 8 or Small, but it still won’t button, there’s about 3-4 inches to go (yes, it’s supposed to button closed). Their silks are much thinner than most, an indication of low quality, and the construction isn’t great, patterns aren’t well-matched on seams, etc. They also copy Western design photos with studying the items in person, a typical problem with Chinese designs. I ordered a cashmere coat and the belt loops are on the inside! Oops, someone really screwed up there. That said, I do like many of their styles, which are classic. Just be selective and check the descriptions and items carefully. I haven’t tried to do a return on this brand yet.
I’m glad to hear your feedback about their sizing. I consulted their size chart because I was interested in ordering a jacket but I didn’t order when the sizing tool suggested that I needed to order an XXL. I’m a size 10. I haven’t seen an influencer who wears over a size 6 do a sponsored video with Goelia. I’ve also read that returns are not free and depending on what country you’re from, returning an item can be quite expensive. I’m going to enjoy the looks and take it as inspo, but I won’t be ordering from them.

Elena, thank you for the very helpful video. However, I am disappointed by the brand you are promoting - Goelia. I had a look on their website and read through some of the reviews online. They appear to be a fast fashion brand trying to mask as a sustainable clothing brand. A few warning signs jumped right out at me - very aggressive reductions advertised on the website; prices don't match the premium quality claims - such as £120 for a pure cashmere cardigan; and the sustainability narrative on their website is extremely vague with next to no detail or checkable facts, just very embellished language. I hope you can reconsider your involvement with your brand, Elena.

I wanted to know if you could do a video with some suggestions for travelling to and from a trip- plane outfits that are comfy but stylish, casual "walking tour" type of outfits for daytime and more dressy outfits for dinners? But using peices multiple times to keep luggage and weight down?

Even if you are way more sofisticate than me, I feel like I can put in use a lot of your rules and pieces of advice with tbe clothes on my wardrobe. I love basics but sometimes I feel bored by them and you are encouraging me to put more color in my everyday, even if it is only picking a brigther sweater or a colorful scarf.
