Ellena, I just found your channel and love it already! I’m retired and spent most of my career in fashion, and still love looking pulled together and hopefully chic 😊. Most of my wardrobe consists of basics and love adding accessories to make my outfits pop, so I know I will be watching and picking up tips from you regularly. Thanks so much !! ❤
I like some Goelia items, but these are my two tips for this brand: 1. Order up at least one or two sizes, their Asian sizing is much, much smaller than Western standards are; and 2. Avoid their acetate and triacetate pieces, these fabrics don’t breathe at all, they’re no improvement over the synthetics. For example, I ordered a blazer in a size Large, even though I’m a US size 8 or Small, but it still won’t button, there’s about 3-4 inches to go (yes, it’s supposed to button closed). Their silks are much thinner than most, an indication of low quality, and the construction isn’t great, patterns aren’t well-matched on seams, etc. They also copy Western design photos with studying the items in person, a typical problem with Chinese designs. I ordered a cashmere coat and the belt loops are on the inside! Oops, someone really screwed up there. That said, I do like many of their styles, which are classic. Just be selective and check the descriptions and items carefully. I haven’t tried to do a return on this brand yet.
I’m glad to hear your feedback about their sizing. I consulted their size chart because I was interested in ordering a jacket but I didn’t order when the sizing tool suggested that I needed to order an XXL. I’m a size 10. I haven’t seen an influencer who wears over a size 6 do a sponsored video with Goelia. I’ve also read that returns are not free and depending on what country you’re from, returning an item can be quite expensive. I’m going to enjoy the looks and take it as inspo, but I won’t be ordering from them.

I wanted to know if you could do a video with some suggestions for travelling to and from a trip- plane outfits that are comfy but stylish, casual "walking tour" type of outfits for daytime and more dressy outfits for dinners? But using peices multiple times to keep luggage and weight down?
Even if you are way more sofisticate than me, I feel like I can put in use a lot of your rules and pieces of advice with tbe clothes on my wardrobe. I love basics but sometimes I feel bored by them and you are encouraging me to put more color in my everyday, even if it is only picking a brigther sweater or a colorful scarf. The red sneakers are also a great inspiration. I'm thinking on buying some Victoria canvas sneakers for the spring/summer in a bright, fun color

I love the last outfit the best. I was in the process of discovering what would work with my new jeans (wide leg). Now, it's just a question of confidence to wear it, as I am a pear, and it will show the bits that i used to hide. Recently I am embracing the freedom of not necesserily dressing for my bodytype, but for my soul's needs. But it does require courage and confidence, that i am working on. :)
Goellia‘s clothes are mostly made of synthetic. Also, I am unsure of how ethical any production in China is, just don’t want to support the distruction of the environment or mistreatment of workers 😢
