It happens to all of us from time to time. We are in training to become masters in our lives. Create a mental picture of the perfect job for you. See it as already accomplished. If you can't do that, that might be the first step. Then, make sure you aren't discounting any ideas that come to you regarding your goal, during chanting time or during the day. You have started a dialogue with the universe and you'll get a response. When you've become aware of fears or doubts, restart visualizing your perfect job as already accomplished. If that's hard become your future self looking back and seeing your goal as already done. You don't want to allow yourself to dwell in fears and doubts. Ask yourself, do I want to create what I don't want, or what I want? I think of it as creating an invisible mental drawing, which is going to show up in real life at some point. Hope this helps. Let me know.
Thank you, Margaret! I have become complacent. Thanks for the reminders; I am a Buddha and all things are possible when I change my attitude about my situation!!♡♡♡
It is a treat to listen to you Margaret. You made it lucid. Thanks. Indeed chanting daimoku with determination is the most potent combination that can produce desired effect in the chanter’s life. Also, sincere daimoku can shape and guide self-centered determination towards a direction that can create value.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom and experiences with us. I purchased copies of your book and workbook for myself and others who are in addiction recovery program. Thank you!
Good . I wrote Stepping Stones for someone who wanted to teach clients in an addictions program. Once we taught them how to chant and the basics we started to bring them to meetings . Hope it goes well.
If you are looking at the problem rather than the solution, then the problem becomes your prayer. Decide what the solution is and focus on that. How long you chant depends on what feels right.
Hi ! Magaret. I would be grateful if you could share ur guidance on how to change karma? Like family karma .what does this exactly mean ? So many different ways people explain but ur explanations is the best I can understand. I f u have already made a video I would appreciate if u could post the link . THANK YOU MAGARET U ARE NO 1.... with DEEP RESPECT AND MUCH LOVE TO U YOU always . 🙏🌺🙏❤‼❤‼
You are so right. I am in this situation right now. I make firm determinations but lose steam down the line and then am deadlocked. I have begun to feel I am not capable of finding The job I want. I chant to overcome my fears, doubts but I have not been successful.
First you make a decision, a determination, that you are going to do something no matter what. Start chanting and then act on ideas that come to you from the universe for the next step to take. They can come in or outside your chanting time, but pay attention if something comes to you when you have been chanting about that topic.
Hello. I would like to know the mechanics of chanting “for” a particular thing. When I chant, I am concentrating on the sound of my voice as I repeat nam myoho renge kyo. I don’t know what it means to chant FOR “X” goal since I am deliberately emptying my mind of all intentions when I chant.
I really need to live near my children, who are in another country. I miss them so much but they are in different religion. I need a small house and my own Gohonzon. For that I need good fortune. I need to be an actual proof of the Gohonzon in their eyes. Help me Margaret
Be clear and specific about what you need to do that and live there. Chant for it and take action when you get ideas of things to do towards your goal.
I have a subject for you when I first join the practice.i was told chanting affect my generations 7 forward and 7 backwards.can you speak on this.see I understand wanting to secure my forward generations but why should I care about generations backwards.they are dead how can that help them .
I went to sgi-usa.org and found this quote in the gosho, On Offerings for One's deceased Ancesters. The greatest evil among evils produces consequences that not only affect the perpetrators personally but extend to their sons, their grandsons, and so on down to the seventh generation. And the same is true of the greatest good among good. Remember we might be dead now, but our lives are eternal and before long we will be reborn again.
Thank you so much for these wonderful videos! They, along with your books, have aided me greatly in my practice. I would love to hear more about fears arising during daimoku; occasionally, while chanting a fear will pop up in my mind that seems to come from no where. I've often wondered if this happens to others. Again, thank you! I always look forward to each new video.
@@margaretblainelifecoach1321 I think complacency refers to a kind of a comfort zone and not apathy. However, if I am content I guess we could always strive to get better. I feel I have to move out of that comfort zone but not able to get the drive to do that.
@@shyamalibasu9442 I would wonder if this was a very compelling goal, or rather a need to or an ought to. I find that lack of motivation disappears when you are going after something you really love.

Periodically, I must come to listen to your well earned wisdom. I bow in respect to my teacher.
When your determination is challenged or softens, make a decision to renew it. Everyone has to do that, I think.

Chant for a calm mind.
The most difficult part of making a determination is maintaining the force and sincerity of the determination.
yes. you have to keep renewing it.
Thank you so MUCH

The value of determination in achieving a goal is very important.
Mrs. Blaine what kind of actions do we need to take with a determination?
Hope they help.
I agree.
Thank you, could you please tell us if we can chant for more than one thing at a time? Do we have to stay with only one until we get it?
You can chant for as many as you want , or stick with one. Your choice.
I feel my life is bigger than my problems.
It absolutely is.

Thanks Cardo. I don't know anyone who hasn't dealt with fears.
I'm sure it happens to everyone.
One of the factors of not getting the right response is our complacency. How would you differentiate complacency from contentment.
To me complacency would have the element of not caring about making any effort, where you cold be contented and still a go getter at the same time.

I can't do much long distance. If I think someone needs more support than chanting about an issue I will tell them.

Can we change a evil person to good soul?
We can only change ourselves. However, if that person is in relationship with you, if you change, the relationship may change.
How do we make a determination for our goal? Is there a way of writing determination?
