I think they're just playfully admitting that they'd be afraid to do those things & imagining Jeb trying to talk them into scary stuff. Hence the "come on man just do it" imagined quote. Not even as harsh as sarcasm, I think they were just joking about their own levels of intimidation and being playfully humble enough to admit it.

Possibly - I hope you're right... working for a DZ I get the opportunity to see so many people every day that love to fly and their enthusiasm is great-espeically 1st time jumpers after their 1st jump; on the other hand I encounter many that believe me to be a crazy, insane, adrenaline junkie with a death wish & no amount of explaining on my part could EVER make them understand that it is not even CLOSE to what this is all about. I hope that you're right though :) I love your optimisim :)

No way.. that man is amazing and inspiring - do you have any idea what it's like to fly? We aren't' "crazy" and we don't "have issues" some of us are just, as my friend likes to say, "born to fly"; until you've experienced it, you cannot judge it.

The guy who came up with the first thing vaguely resembling the wingsuit decided to test it on the Eiffel tower. Jeb got a far higher score, mainly for not dying and using the proper equipment.

@TokerMate - they plan their route so they get into a large opening with altitude before pulling. I'd like to see the planning that goes into a jump.

2:33 jump is the sickest in my opinion...moves me the most...however they all do!
They get so fucking close to some of those cliff edges and shit, I have no idea how they dont piss themselves, if you make the tiniest mistake at that speed that close to the ground. These people are legends.

@DarkfallTony...Correct. Sky in the AM, SCUBA in the PM. Reverse this order and you'll be in the Hyperbaric chamber or a casket. Don't even get on a plane after SCUBA until all the N is out of your system...a friend of mine died that way, and very miserably I was told. Good reminder DarkfallTony!

@GayForJC i mean think about it, what you just saw, people dreamed of this. This was thought to be impossible years ago. Other than that we have gaint FLAT screen tv's with 1080p resolution, TOUCH SCREEN cellphones that FIT in your pocket, Planes that can reach the outer layers of SPACE. When i fully realized we were in the future, i was talking face to face with a friend from mexico, real time, FACE TO FACE. I'm stilled amazed at the simple technology's that we have today.

you have to do a minimum off 200 freefall skydives before you can do a wingsuit jump from an airplane (in most contries, it can differ a little bit on where you're located) and then it takes alot of practice before you can do something like this.
Basicly, alot off time and money.

@dialnick And, tough to mount all those cameras to your skull, too :) If we want all this cool footage, there needs to be a helmet. And going 120 +/- mph tries to vacuum the air out of your lungs. It doesn't totally, but you sort of have to pull the air in, to counter act it. An ill placed bug, could sure hurt.
