There were a few things mentioned in this interview that helped me realize why this company acts/performs like it does. Attitude reflects Leadership and the Ego is real.
Dara is not steering the ship in the right direction, it is starting to fall off to the wayside. I give him 6 months before the investors and shareholders vote him out. Next time you get into an Uber ride ask the driver what they think of the CEO of Uber. There's your answer.
Found it hard to connect with this one - plenty of well thought out “safe” answers. Didn’t feel like I got to know Dara as much as I would’ve liked. Good answers from a PR perspective though for sure
As a driver, I wish they would limit how many drivers can sign up in a given market. I drive in a small market where we could do well if.....there weren’t always 8 drivers within a block of me at all the busy areas. I can only get 10rides per day
So, UBER'S CEO WILL NOT USE UBER BECAUSE HE NEEDS A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF SECURITY, AND SO DO I; THEREFORE, I'LL NEVER USE UBER AS THEY CAN'T GIVE ME ANY AMOUNT OF SECURITY.
He’s laughing all the way to bank and knows there’s nothing he can do to save a sinking ship so bank all you can, while you can buddy. And he knows this.
Please don't stop producing the David Rubenstein show!

The valuation is driven by bailouts from Softbank. Down nearly 50% from IPO. Losing $1B / quarter. Wow!

So funny people think they will run out of money. Softbank would never let that happen
