Saw these guys at the Livingston accordion and fiddle club back in the 70's when they looked as they do in the cover photo. One of life's great mysteries how they were never World famous as they outclassed everyone given their age and effortless style of playing.
Wonderful playing They should have been more famous around the world with such talent and such nice lads so polite My brother the late Billy Grant often played drums with them
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting these guys in my young days must have been the most requested band ever to grace the accordion and fiddle clubs in the 1980s still to this day I am in awe to their prowess and talent
Three of the finest musicians and three of the most pleasant polite guys it's ever been my pleasure to meet. I used to love going to hear them at the local Accordion and Fiddle clubs in the 1980s.
I’ve said this before and, no apologies for repeating myself. I’ve heard all the great accordionists for the last 75 years and, honestly, They are my No1s!! I’ve been to listen to today’s big favourite, Brandon McPhee in person and I think they have him beat!! That definitely should have had a lot more acclaim.
Brilliant musicians - they can play so many other instruments too, I never tire of listening to their music & the variety of their wide musical skills & they are such nice chaps too.
Very talented Lads ,l remember them back in the 70s not my thing normally but very talented young men ,no doubt grand dads now, my cousin Ron Gardner knew them,
I can't find a Wiki page for these people. Is any fan or musical researcher able to start something up, so that we can learn a bit about them? Their music is great and I'd like to discover more.
